✈️ 1st Flight : The Meeting

******Mew's POV******

"Mister Mew Suppasit, do you take Mister Gulf Kanawut to be your lawfully wedded husband?" the minister asked, the room was completely silent and all us on eyes, I did my best to hide my frustration and showed a little fake smile

"I do" the moment I answered, I heard my big sister and mother squealing in excitement, I glanced to Gulf who was both nervous and anxious, it can't be helped, we both were forced into this marriage

"Mister Gulf Kanawut, do you take Mister Mew Suppasit to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Gulf flinched glancing up then looked down again

"I do" he said sounding like he finally gave up to his fate

"By the authority vested in me by the State of Thailand, I now pronounce you Husband and Husband, Congratulation!" the minister announced as everyone rose clapping and cheering for us, we faced them both faking a smile with our families and friends surrounding us, everyone looked so happy for us except for me and Gulf

Well, even if we got back in time we could never do anything to change our current situation, it started 4 months ago which make it exactly one year after I started my job...

After 6 years of hard work, studying and training, I finally fulfilled my dream and officially became a pilot, all the all-nighters I spent were worth it, I graduated as the top of my faculty, I immediately got hired, although I started as a co-pilot for at least 3 months before I officially became one, I used that time to learn more from my supervisor who was nice and taught me everything before he retired and I took his place

"I'm so proud of you son" my father said before I went on my first trip

"you are amazing Mew, I'm also proud of you too" my mother added with a wide happy smile standing by the door to see me off

"the pilot suit looks cool on you dear brother" my big sister said snapping a couple of pictures

My family is very normal and average if I would say, my father is a businessman, my mother is primary school teacher and my sister who got married two years ago is a stylist, her husband is a professor at the same uni were I was studying, somehow I became their cupid and before I noticed, they got married and a few months ago they became parents to a beautiful little princess

We all led a simple modest life, at first we had it hard living in a small rented apartment yet my parents worked so hard and managed to buy a good two floored house when I was still in high school, we did have hard times but I did my best to become who I wanted to be, seeing my parents so proud makes me more glad that I chose this path

My first trip as a co-pilot was to South Korea, it was around 7 hours trip, my family were dead worried and kept calling me almost every hour, thankfully my supervisor was very understanding and laughed about it yet slowly they got used to my work, just they told me to see them right before any trip, thankfully my place is not far from them

I was lucky that my university was close to my house and I didn't have to stay at a dorm but after graduation, I rented an apt, it was time for me to start living alone besides my time is messed up and didn't want to bother them like when I go back by 3 am or when I have to leave for work by midnight

On my first trip as a pilot, I invited my family to come along, they were so excited and thankfully the weather was so great so it went smoothly, we spend a few days sightseeing before going back, I did want to let them enjoy going on trips and also it was a way to assure them that I will be fine since they were always worried and it worked
