!!
you
I do miss you,
it’s been awhile.
Our distance grew,
we are miles apart.
I still hold you close,
in the depths of my heart.
Trying to muster every
ounce of confidence in
this cluttered head
of mine; working up
the courage to look
into you but I just end
up in a destructive bind.
Cookie is crumbling,
the boat isn’t moving,
we’ve come to a halt,
who’s to blame who’s at fault?
What I know that is for sure,
every time I see you I easily fall,
into this hole of sadness where I painfully crawl.
We could be so much more but we’re near nothing.
That’s you and me,
something
brittle that
is hard
to see.
THE
GreaT
WaLL.
