Jade has just made it in from doing a deal with her guys. One that was almost violence free, until the other guy got crazy and she had to break his nose.

As soon as she gets in, she strips down to her underwear, discarding the clothes she was wearing that had the other guy's blood on it. She's in the bathroom, washing her hands and getting ready for a shower when she hears a knock on her door.

Her face twists into a confused frown, looking at her Apple Watch, she blinks a few times to make sure the time is correct. It's nearly 4am. She contemplates grabbing her gun, because who in the hell would be at her door this late, but she decides against it.

Instead, she dries her hands and walks to the door, as the person is still knocking. She's always hated her apartment for not having a peephole, though there was a chain. She takes a deep breath and cracks the door open, only to let out a sigh of relief when she sees who it is. She closes the door gently and unhooks the chain, then pulls it open.

"Is everything alright? What are you doing outside this late?" Jade asks, stepping aside.

"Sorry. I couldn't sleep." Perrie sighs, stepping inside.

"Baby, you should've called."  Jade closes the door behind her and turns around.

"Should I go?" The blonde asks, turning back towards the door. "I'm sorry, I just—"

"No. No, sweetheart." Jade replies, gently grabbing her wrist to stop her. "I didn't mean it like that. You're always welcome here. I just meant, it's dangerous to be out this late. I would've come to you if you'd called."

"I wouldn't want you out this late either." Perrie says, having no idea that the brunette has just gotten in the house herself. "What are you doing up this late anyway?"

"Couldn't sleep either." Jade lies. "I was just about to shower, when I heard the door."

Perrie glances at Jade, just now realizing that she's only in her underwear. "Oh, right. Sorry. I'll just go—"

"Baby, stop trying to leave." Jade says, blocking the door. "You don't have to go anywhere. I'm happy you came, I was just surprised because it's late. I'm always happy to see you."

Jade steps forward and lightly pecks Perrie's lips.

"You were about to shower, though." Perrie frowns. "I interrupted."

"So join me. Or take a seat. Or go lay down. Whatever you want. Make yourself at home. This isn't anything you haven't seen before." Jade says.

"I think I'll go lay down, if that's okay?" Perrie says.

Jade frowns. "Is everything okay? With us?"

"Yes, why?" Perrie asks.

"You're acting like you're bothering me or something. Or like I don't want you here." She replies.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't know how you'd feel about me popping up." Perrie says nervously and Jade smiles.

"It's okay. You can come over anytime, babe. I want you here." The older girl says and Perrie nods and smiles.

"Okay. I'm going to go lay down then. I think I'd sleep better with you." Perrie says.

"Damn, and I was hoping you'd say you wanted to join me." Jade smirks and Perrie giggles, until she notices something.

"Is that... blood on your chest?" Perrie points to a drop right under where Jade's necklace sits.

Jade swallows. "Yeah, I got a crazy nosebleed earlier. I thought I'd cleaned it all up."
