"I'm so glad I got to hold ya" Till Forever Falls Apart by Ashe and FINNEAS

Third Person POV:

It was the day after Christmas break ended and everyone was getting ready for class the next day. Emlyn's mother had sent her a letter a few days after Christmas with a few galleons and a note saying Merry Christmas. She laughed and trashed the note.

Emlyn had decided she needed to talk to Harry about what they wanted to do with their relationship. She went to him early in the morning before there was anyone in the common room. "Harry, I have loved dating your for the past few days but, that has been when nobody was here. The school was practically empty.  Nobody knew we were snogging on the quidditch pitch or in the common room." She said. "Are your breaking up with me?" Harry said worriedly. "Oh no Harry. I would never. I just wanted to keep our relationship on the down low. I mean Draco would go ballistic and basically he is our main problem. I mean along with my parents and Matteo." She said. "Oh, of course. We can do that." He said and then he gave her a peck on the forehead.

"What are you two doing up at such an hour?" Hermione said as she walked down the steps. "Not much, we had just gotten into the habit of it during Christmas." Emlyn said. "Well, it is Sunday. I don't expect the Weasleys to be up for at least another half hour. Neville should be up soon though." Hermione said. "Speak of the devil." Harry said. "Good morning all." Neville said with a cheery smile. "Sleep well?" He asked. "Yes Neville, thanks for asking." Emlyn said. "Just waiting for the Weasleys to wake up and then we can go down for breakfast." Hermione said. They were all dressed and ready. A few other people had passed through the common room, but nobody they wanted to see.

"Moooorning." George said as he came downstairs. "Morning all." Fred said. "Hello Fred. Hello George." Neville said. "The hell are you all doing up so early. It is only eight." Ginny said coming downstairs, even though she was fully ready, she was still complaining. "Am I the last one up?" Ron said coming down a few minutes later, everyone was watching him. "Yes Ron." Harry replied. "Well then." Ron said. "Breakfast?" He asked rhetorically. "Yep." Fred replied.

They all headed down to breakfast. Emlyn sat next to Harry and Hermione. They were laughing through breakfast. The past few days Emlyn and Harry had gotten used to eating in an empty great hall and they would talk about Merlin knows what or Harry would kiss her on the cheek, but they had to refrain from that since everyone was back. Harry almost broke and held Emlyn's hand in the middle of breakfast. A few moments later, Emlyn felt a tap on her back. It was her brother.

"Can you come to the common room this evening, say around 8, I have your charms book to return to you." Draco said. Harry's knuckles were white while gripping onto the table, he looked as if he were to kill Malfoy if he got an inch closer to Emlyn. "Sure, see you around 8." Emlyn said. "I will meet you outside the common room and let you in, alright." Draco said. "Ok Draco." She said. Draco shook his head and walked off.

"You're not gonna have fingers if you keep doing that mate." Ron said looking down at Harry's hands. "Oh, reflexes." Harry said. Emlyn chuckled. She put her hand deliberately on the table to gently brush against his. "Oh sorry." She said. Hermione gave a look to Ginny and smirked.

The rest of the group started to walk to the library to do homework. Emlyn and Harry had finished theirs over break at Hogwarts. They had also completely forgotten about the restricted section of the library to get the book. Hermione would no be impressed. "Harry, we forgot about the book." Emlyn said. "Oh shit, the book!" Harry exclaimed. "We can't go now, everyone is there." Emlyn said. Harry sighed.

"We just have to explain to them we forgot. We were swamped with homework." Harry said hoping they would understand. "Well let's head back to the common room. We can talk with them when they get back." Emlyn said, clearly disappointed.

When Hermione and Ron got back to the common room. Harry explained that they hadn't retrieved the book because of homework. Hermione looked skeptical, but they accepted it. Harry said they would get the book tomorrow and that they were both sorry.

Emlyn then had to go to the Slytherin common room.
