Chapter 5 - Another Side

TW - Cursing, near death, death

~Ranboo's POV~

Tubbo. I can't get my mind off of him for some reason. I'm here laying on my bed at 7:34am. My brother burst into my room.

"Wake upppppppppp Ranboo"

He walked over and started shaking me. I turned around to face him. He had a green hoodie and some dark blue jeans. He also had his mask on.

"Yeah yeah I'm awake Dream"

"Niki's here, she made us food down stairs. Hurry up before it gets cold. Oh and we're going to play outside afterwards"

He walked back towards the door and closed it. I heard his foot steps soften as I heard him go downstairs. Well I don't have a choice to lay in bed anymore.

I got up and walked over to the closet. The floor was ice cold. I put on a black shirt with a thick white line going horizontally across the shirt and some jeans similar to Dream's.

I went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror. The memory's still rushed inside my head. My eyes landed on my lips. The kiss felt warm and soft. I never really had one before. So it was my first kiss.

Wait did I just lose my first kiss to someone I might not see again- nevermind.

I brushed my teeth and face. I ran my hand through my hair which made it look normal. Alright I'm done.

I had socks on, so the cold floor wasn't as cold. I walked out my bedroom door and into the hallway. I could hear shoes clang behind me. There was only one person in this castle who would put on shoes in the morning instead of just wearing socks.

"Good morning Ranboo"

"Good morning XD"

XD passed by me and was going a little quicker than I was. XD wasn't the worst if I was going to be honest. He never really did anything wrong but me and Dream always felt something off about him.

Overall I guess he was just scary. We're still thankful for him through. I walked down the stairs and entered the dinning room. Niki was sitting down and talking with Dream. XD was just staring at his food.

Ah shit I have to sit next to him. I carefully walked over and sat down.

"Good morning Ranboo!"

Niki was always nice. She wasn't my sister but she was my friend. We pretty much treated her like family.

"Good morning Niki"

I sat down and started eating the waffles in front of me. Niki always made the best food. We all ate in silence. I remember it wasn't always silent during breakfast. But that was when Mother and Father were still here.

I looked over at XD and his face was in the plate of food. I quietly laugh at the sight. Dream noticed XD and me and started laugh a little too.

"What's so funny?" Niki looked up from her food and looked at me.

I pointed over to XD. Her eyes landed on him. She almost choked on the water that was in her mouth. XD brought his head back up from the plate of food and stared at us.

We immediately quieted down and continued eating. I heard a quiet chuckle coming from XD. I looked up from my plate and looked at him. Dream and Niki did the same.

I've never heard him laugh or chuckle before. This was new. His chuckle made me feel weirdly happy and safe. This was probably the loudest breakfast we've had ever since our parents died.

I missed this.

9:46am

After breakfast me, Niki, Fundy, and Dream went outside to play in the forest. Of course we weren't kids but we liked to loosen up a bit.
