Mattia pov

i pulled away immediately, her eyes widen as she looked up at me in shook, i was also in shook myself, our eyes met but i looked away and walked out.

i spotted the vase in the coffee table, i didn't have to think twice before grabbing the vase and throwing it straight to the ground making it shattered into pieces, i looked up at my guards that stood there

"why are you guys just standing there?" i asked, anger was taking over me and i couldn't control it

"sir we have somewhere to be" one of them spoke up, i was not in the mood for anything right now, then i heard her footsteps as she made her way outside the room we were just in

she walked passed me like nothing happened

i pulled her arm making her turn around to look at me, again i looked down at her

"your coming along" i said and before she was even able to say something, i grabbed her hand and pulled her out the house

making our way to the car, her eyes flew to the warehouse, guiltily, that's how i felt

"our parents invited us to dinner" i said to her before she got in the car but she kept silent, not one word came out her mouth, the car ride was worse

the window by her was open, the wind blew her hair as the car drove off, then the red light came

i looked over at her as she looked forward, the car next to us slid down their window, the guy in the car who was driving leaned in on the window

"ma'am" the guy spoke up, i kept my glance on him and the other guy next to him, natalia looked over at him but before he had a chance to speak again, i rolled up the window making it close

natalia looked back at me confused

"what?" i said.

she shook her head

i hugged my father as he pulled away right after

natalia's parents walked up to me and pulled me into a hug as my parents pulled natalia into a hug. after the hugs we walked to the diner table and we took our seats

"so tell me natalia, is my son treating you good?" was the first thing my mother said once she took her seat, all heads turned to natalia for her answer

she just nodded with the most fakest smile ever

"i actually got you something" my mother said getting up from her seat and walking around the table to natalia, my mother pulled out a box and handed it to natalia who smiled

my mother whispered something to natalia

after that we all started eating and talking, i looked over at the door as it opened, alejandro and kairi walked in with a small smile

they said their hellos before taking a seat next to me

"we gotta talk to you" kairi said looking over at me, i narrowed my eyes "after dinner" kairi finished making me look away

"mattia?" natalia's father said, i looked over at him "i heard about your new alley. you know he's difficult to work with" he said, and i couldn't agree with him any more, it was true

"i'm fully aware" i nodded

"well, what made you agree to work with him?" he asked

"there's actually many reasons but for now i just need him to think i'll work with him" i said as he only nodded

after that it was silent, no one talked, by this time everyone was already done with their foods

"do you guys have somewhere to be after??" my father asked us, i looked over at natalia who looked back at me

"no-" natalia started but i cut her off

"yes we do." i quickly said making everyone confused "i have to take care of things" i said. natalia narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything

"very well then" my father said walking up to us "come back soon"

"thank you, we will" natalia said giving my parents and hers a hug and saying their goodbyes

after the goodbyes we walked out followed by kairi and alejandro, i was gonna get in the car but remembered kairi said he had to talk to me so i looked over at natalia before talking

"wait for me in the car" i said, she didn't replied but just got in the car, i turned my head to the boys "what did you guys want to talk about??" i asked them

"the marriage" kairi said, i narrowed my eyes

"the marriage?? what does that have to do with anything" i asked crossing my arms up to my chest

"mattia." alejandro started "don't get yourself attached, don't even think about her in any way" alejandro said making me more confused then ever

"get to your point" i said

"eventually they'll make you guys divorce, they won't be able to have you guys married for long due to your parents history once they find out so there can't never be a you and her"

a/n: took a break bc i needed one but now i'm back and hope to be updating more. it's been a while so how have y'all been.
