Natalia pov

although i knew the truth now, i acted and pretended i didn't. but i still had a feeling to say something about it to mattia, and if i didn't then jackson will tell mattia that he had already told me and that will only lead to mattia wondering why i didn't say anything

but he hasn't say anything about it either

still i wonder why were we getting a divorce, now that's something jackson didn't bother on telling me

i didn't ask him either. i narrowed my eyes as i turned to the hallway i never bother to go through. the house had multiple hallways that i yet haven't went through.

walking a bit further i looked at one of the rooms, mattia was punching a punching bag. his hair wet due from just getting out the shower, he had on some sweat pants but no shirt.

stare, that's what i could only do, stare at him

i stood there for so long i didn't realize his eyes were already on me as i was by the door

"did you need something, tesoro?" mattia said grabbing the small towel from the chair wiping away some sweat off his face

i narrowed my eyes again, how is it that he showered and is now working out? shouldn't it be the opposite

"no. i got lost" i mumbled making mattia smile

"this is your home now, you should know where to go without getting lost." mattia said throwing the towel over his shoulders "i need to do a bit more training, i promise to show you around the house later, ok?" mattia said, i couldn't help but smile

as i was about to walk out, jackson walked in making me roll my eyes, he narrowed his eyes at me

"you should be glad i told you the truth, if anything you should thank me instead of rolling your eyes every time you see me" jackson whispered to me so mattia wouldn't hear

mattia only looked at us as i pushed jackson away making him chuckle loudly

i walked out the room and quickly made my way to the kitchen, grabbing a water bottle from the freezer before going back to where mattia was

jackson and mattia were talking as i enter the room again.

i handed the bottle to mattia who smiled, jackson looked from mattia to me. i just know this guy was gonna open that annoying mouth of his and say something stupid

"you didn't bother to bring me one while you were at it? is that how you treat your guests? mrs.polibio, that's quite rude of you to do after the conversation we had" jackson said giving me a small shake of his head

mattia looked up from the water bottle to me

"what conversation?" mattia asked looking at both me and jackson now

i was about to open my mouth and say it was nothing but ofc this annoying guy called jackson beat me to it

"ask your wife" jackson said patting mattia's shoulder before walking out, i looked at mattia who was already glaring at me

"you should go back to training, i'll leave you to it" i said about to walk out

"natalia" his calm voice called out

i slowly turned around to look at him, he walked closer up to me

"you didn't tell me you had a conversation with jackson, i thought i made it clear for you to stay away from him." he said crossing his arms up to his chest

"i know" i answered

"what did you guys talk about?" mattia asked frowning his eyes, my eyes looked anywhere but him, he came more closer moving pieces of strands of my hair away from my face "don't make me ask you again. what did y'all talk about?" mattia asked again

we stared at each other, he was about to say something but his phone started ringing, throwing his head back and groaning he pulled out his phone to answer

a sigh escaped my mouth, the phone call saved me

"what the fuck do you want?" mattia said to the other person on the phone, his expression changed immediately as he talked to the person on the phone "i'll be there" mattia said hanging up the call and looking back at me "this conversation isn't over mi amore, i'll be sure to find out what jackson and you had talked about" mattia said placing a kiss on my cheek

he walked out

i let out a deep breath i didn't know i was holding
