"Everybody wants a happy ending, right?," Tony said in a recorded hologram from his Iron Man helmet. "But it doesn't always roll that way. Maybe this time. I'm hoping if you play this back, it's in celebration. I hope families are reunited, I hope we get it back, and something like a normal version of the planet has been restored. If there ever was such a thing. God, what a world. Universe, now. If you told me ten years ago that we weren't alone, let alone, you know, to this extent, I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised. But come on, you know? The epic forces of darkness and light have come into play. And, for better or worse, that's the reality Morgan's gonna have to find a way to grow up in."

Tony was sitting down, "So I thought I'd probably better record a little greeting... In the case of an untimely death on my part. I mean, not that, death at any time isn't untimely. This time travel thing that we're gonna try and pull off tomorrow, it's– it's got me scratching my head about the survivability of it all. That's the thing. Then again, that's the hero gig. Part of the journey is the end."

He got up suddenly and walked towards his camera, "What am I even trippin' for? Everything's gonna work out exactly the way it's supposed to."

Tony leaned down and smiled, looking straight at Morgan, "I love you 3,000."

Then, he disappeared. With a heavy heart, Pepper carried a wreath out of the house to an audience waiting outside for the intimate funeral.

She placed the wreath on the lake. On top of the wreath is Tony's first arc reactor, which Pepper had framed with the words "Proof That Tony Stark Has a Heart" back in 2008.

Pepper, Morgan, Happy Hogan, & Rhodey, all being joined by Steve Rogers, Peter Parker, May Parker, Thor, Bruce Banner were standing at the front.

Doctor Strange, Wong, Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Peter Quill, Nebula, Rocket, Groot, Drax, Mantis, T'Challa, Okoye, Shuri, Clint Barton & his family were behind them.

While Wanda, Sapphire, Bucky, & Sam stood together.

Sapphire looked up to Bucky, seeing the grief that he and Tony never got to talk again. Everyone was wearing something formal except for him because he didn't think that it would be alright for him to go.

After all, the Winter Soldier killed Tony's father, and Steve had to betray Tony to keep him alive.

Sapphire dug her hand inside the pockets of Bucky's jacket and held his hand.

Bucky looked at her, grateful to have her with him. Those steel eyes of her, gave warmth and comfort to him more than her hands could give.

Sam saw the sadness and regret of Bucky and offered comfort by patting his shoulder.

Harley Keener, Secretary Ross, Maria Hill, Carol Danvers, and Nick Fury, stood behind everyone.

They all watched silently for the wreath to float away.

When the funeral came to an end, Clint, Wanda, and Sapphire stood by the riverside.

"You know, I wish there was a way– that I could let her know. That we won," Clint said before looking over to Wanda. "We did it."

"She knows," Wanda answered.

"They both do," Sapphire offered a small smile to her.

Wanda smiled at her, "Yeah."

"Angel of Death," Fury spoke out of nowhere. "I would like to speak with you."

Sapphire nodded, giving Clint and Wanda a small smile before following Nick a little further than where she previously stood.
