Evie looked through the binoculars around the Junkyard she heard Steve and the others talking but Evie stopped listening and looked around more she didn't heard Max climbing up the ledder or Max talking to her until Max tapped her shoulder causing Evie to jump "Jesus" Evie said "Were you ignoring me" Max asked "What no i was just zoned out I'm really scared of what will happen" Evie said "Did you saw something" Steve asked from inside the bus "No not all of it" Evie said saying the first word loud and the others whispering "Why don't you tell him" Max asked "Because i don't want him to worry about me" Evie said "Wait what" Max asked "Sometimes i want to be alone then i see something then i tell him then he's sending Katie or Connor in my room" Evie said "Oh" Max said "I just want to be alone and i can't even be alone in my room or anywhere i go one of them is always there" Evie said "Oh i'm sorry" Max said "Thanks" Evie said they heard a growl making them jump "Eve what's going on" Dustin asked "Hold on" Evie said looking through the binoculars again "Shit i got eyes ten o'clock" Evie said

Evie's heart dropped when she saw Steve walking towards the baby Demogorgon "No" Evie said climbing down the ledder "Steve come back" Evie said "Steve" Lucas said from the roof of the bus "Little busy here" Steve said "Three o'clock" Lucas said "Dustin give me that" Evie said pointing at the second bat with the nails Dustin handed her the bat and she ran towards Steve who was about to get attacked but Evie swung the bat and the Demodog flew away "EVE" or "STEVE" the others yelled "EVE WATCH OUT" Katie yelled but it was too late a Demodog jumped at her causing Evie to fall to the ground "EVE" Max yelled "Steve" Evie groaned causing Steve to look at her he saw how the Demodog opened his face before it could bite her Steve hit it but another one came and bit Evie in her leg "Shit" Evie said Steve hit the Demodog helped Evie up and ran to the bus Max hugged Evie "Why do you have to be so brave" Max asked "You can't lose me that easily" Evie said pulling away "Nothing against you" Evie said before the bus shaked and everyone screamed a Demodog came through the door and Steve hit it the kids ran in the back of the bus Katie buried her face in Lucas' chest causing Lucas to wrap his arms around her Dustin screamed in his walkie talkie Evie stood on Lucas' side and Max stood beside the ledder Steve was still in the front of the bus suddenly it was silent Max looked up and saw a Demodog she screamed Steve pushed her back "You want this come and get it" Steve said the Demodog looked away and ran away Evie felt something on her hand she looked down and saw Max holding her hand both of them blushed and let go of each other's hands

They walked outside "What happened" Katie asked "Steve scared them of" Dustin suggested "No they are going somewhere" Steve said turning to the kids seeing "Let's walk along the train tracks" Lucas said making all of them agree Max walked with Evie Lucas walked with Katie and Dustin walked with Steve "Can i ask you something" Max asked breaking the silence between them "Yeah" Evie said "What is Connor for you" Max asked "Are you jealous" Evie asked smirking "What no" Max said "Did you forgot i can read minds sometimes it just happens and i can't control it" Evie asked then said "Did you read my mind" Max asked "No and i would never do that" Evie said "So what is Connor for you" Max asked again "He's just my brother nothing else" Evie said "Is he a good brother" Max asked "Yes he is" Evie said "What am i for you" Max asked "Oh uh many things" Evie said "Like" Max asked "Like my first kiss" Evie said grabbing Max's hand and interwining their fingers "Is there something else" Max asked smiling "The girl i like" Evie said "I like you too" Max said Dustin and Lucas started arguing Evie and Max let go of each other's hands Evie walked to Steve and wrapped her arms around his waist "What's wrong" Steve asked "My leg hurts" Evie said they heard a growl making Evie pull away from Steve who walked towards it a little "Guys" Steve said but the others didn't heard him "Guys" Steve said loudly making Evie flinch the kids stopped and looked to Steve they heard another growl and the boys plus Katie ran towards it leaving Evie and Max alone "Shit" Evie whispered looking at her white t-shirt what was now red "You okay" Max asked from behind Evie making Evie turn around still looking at her t-shirt "Oh shit" Max said walking towards her "Can i" Max asked "Yeah" Evie said making Max slowly lift her shirt not wanting to hurt her she saw scratches and the nail marks from the Demodog Max gasped at the sight of it "I know it's bad" Evie said her voice full of pain "Yeah really bad" Max said letting go of the t-shirt and look in Evie's eyes "It'll be okay" Max said looking away "Max" Evie asked making Max look at her again "Yes" Max asked "We need to go to the others" Evie said "Yeah right let's go" Max said "But my leg hurts i can't walk fast" Evie said "It's okay" Max said grabbing her hand and interwining their fingers and walk together

"It's the Lab they are going home" Lucas said "Connor" Evie realized making everyone look at her "Connor is in there" Evie said "Come on fast" Steve said "Steve again my leg hurts" Evie said "Show me your leg" Steve said making Evie sit down and roll up her pants letting the others see a bite "What's with your shirt" Steve asked after Evie stood up he wanted to lift it up but Evie slapped his hand away "Don't you dare" Evie said "Sorry i forgot" Steve said "Let's go" Lucas said walking with Katie Dustin and Steve towards the Lab leaving Evie and Max alone again "Are you serious" Evie asked Steve "Yep" Steve replied "Wow best brother ever" Evie said sarcastic "I heard that" Steve said "Asshole" Evie whispered making Max laugh "Is it always like that" Max asked "Yeah" Evie said "So cute" Max said "You're cute" Evie said making Max blush "Oh shut up" Max said "Okay it's better if i not laugh" Evie said "Why" Max asked "It hurts" Evie said grabbing Max's hand again and walk to the others who were talking with Nancy and Jonathan "Nancy" Evie asked "Eve are you okay" Nancy asked "Besides the fact i was attacked by a Demodog actually good" Evie said "Can i still" Nancy asked "Yeah but slowly please it hurts like hell" Evie said making Nancy hug her and pull away but still having an arm around her "Thanks" Evie said "Where are Will, Connor and Mike" Jonathan asked Evie pointed to the Lab before they heard a growl "Okay can i try to get in Connor's head" Evie asked "Yeah try it" Steve said Evie closed her eyes (in Connor's head head) "Connor" Evie said "Guys" Connor asked "What" Evie heard Hopper ask "Evie is in my head" Connor said "Where is she" Joyce asked "I'm in front of the Lab with the others" Evie said in Connor head "She's in front of the Lab with the others" Connor said "Can they come inside" Hopper asked "No we can't the gate is closed and we can't open it" Evie said "They can't come in the gate is closed and they can't open it" Connor said "Eve get out of my head or you'll be drained like hell again" Connor said in his head "I don't care" Evie said "Eve please if you don't then you can die i can't lose you too" Connor said in his head again "Like i said i don't care if i die" Evie said (With the others who are around Evie) "I think you should back away" Katie suddenly said "What why" Steve asked "Just back away" Katie said making everyone back away from Evie

After a few minutes something like a ghost with powers punched Evie in her stomach and she flew through the air "Holy shit" Dustin said loudly "What Katie how did you know we should back away" Steve asked "I don't know" Katie said as Evie hit the ground everyone ran to her "Eve" Steve asked "Eve please we can't lose you too" Katie said Steve laid his head on her chest for a few seconds he lifted his head "Steve" Katie asked scared "Her heart is beating" Steve said "Eve wake up" Steve said Evie opened her eyes "Hey stay awake please" Steve said Evie coughed but not for long "You okay" Steve asked making her nod tiredly Jonathan picked her up "Can she go with you" Steve asked pointing at Max "Yeah but fast" Jonathan said "Dustin try to open the gate" Nancy said Dustin nodded and ran in the little house and tried to open the gate "Let's go in the car Max you first" Jonathan said Max got in first Jonathan sat Evie in the car and closed the door "Max" Evie said barely above a whisper "Yeah" Max asked "Were you scared" Evie asked tiredly "Yes and i still am" Max said Evie laid her head on Max's shoulder grabbed Max's hand and interwined their fingers "Like i said you would never lose me that fast you're stuck with me now" Evie whispered "And i love it to be stuck with you" Max said placing her head on Evie's "Me too" Evie whispered "You tired" Max asked "No" Evie said "You need to rest" Max said "How caring and cute you are" Evie teased "Just for you" Max said before Jonathan and Nancy got in the car "Eve you can sleep" Nancy said "Okay" Evie said closing her eyes and fall asleep
