Spark Into A Flame (A Chandra X Nissa Fic.)

Flames on Zendikar

Nissa's POV ish

She woke up to the feeling of a planeswalker on Zendikar.  This normally wouldn't effect Nissa except that it was Chandra.  Nissa knew she loved the human.  But she could never express it properly.  So she expressed it the same way Chandra did.  During the war, she thought she might die several times.  So she confessed.  "I love you" was the exact words she said.  She would do anything for her.

Her thoughts about Chandra was interrupted with another thought of Chandra.  Why would Chandra come to Zendikar at this time of night?  She started walking towards the feeling of chandra's presence.  Eventually she could see the bright red clothing and hair of her love.  She walked towards Chandra.  When seeing her face, she became stricken with worry.  Chandra look distressed and scared.

"Hey Nissa."  Chandra said looking down.  In response, Nissa gave her a worried look that pierced through Chandra's soul.  "So um.  This is kinda complicated, but can I stay at your place tonight?  Nightmares and shit burned my bed.  Plus, your the most calming person I know."

Nissa nodded her head in response.  Nissa grabbed chandra's hand and pulled her towards her house.  "I'm happy to welcome you into my home Chandra,"  Nissa said while walking Chandra into her house and down a hallway.

Through one of the door's was a singular bed in the center of a room.  It was a room filled with plant life.  Chandra walked into the room and climbed into the bed.  She closed her eyes to finally sleep.

But she couldn't.  She tried to sleep but guilt plagued her mind.  She didn't want to burn anything.  Especially with Nissa in another room.  She loved Nissa.  She never wanted to hurt her.  Chandra wasn't used to loving calm and peaceful people.  Whenever she was in the presence of Nissa, she would rationalize things more.  She would be more calm and be more likely to have a plan.

Maybe if she were to stay in the same room as Nissa, she wouldn't be scared.  Nissa would calm her down if she got restless so she wouldn't burn anything.  But she didn't know how to approach the elf with this.  So she snuck out of bed and open each door in the hallway until she found where Nissa was sleeping.  She opened the door just enough so that she could slip inside.

"Nissa are you awake?" Chandra said in a whisper.  Nissa turned to face Chandra in her bed.  She didn't get up she just layed there waiting to hear what Chandra had to say.
