Chandra's POV ish
"Jace I've been having nightmares on Kadalesh and my hair set fire to my bed. I've yet to get a fireproof one because this is the first time my dreams have really affected my powers. I went to the first person who could possibly help me at the time, Nissa. Nothing happened I swear and I don't want Nissa to get hurt because of my actions, okay?!" Chandra ended her sentences yelling. Nissa and Jace were both worried for Chandra at this point.
Jace walked towards Chandra not saying a word. Tears streaming down chandra's face as she was immediately hugged by Jace. A sense of surprise was left on chandra's face. Jace spoke to her, "I'm here for you Chandra, we all are. I will support your decisions even if they aren't the best ones. But I respect if you don't want me to tell anyone about today." Jace ended. But Chandra started something.
Chandra whispered to a low enough tone that Nissa couldn't hear her, "I love her Jace, but I don't think she loves me." Her whisper faded into silence then into quiet sobs. Chandra's knees grew weak and Jace noticed. So he continued to hug her but sat down on the floor.
Nissa felt terrible and akward. The worst is that she knew what Chandra said to Jace. She became an expert in lip reading. She knew that she needed to show her affection to Chandra a bit more than she already was.
A/N - fun fact when I typed " I love her Jace " it was autocorrected to "I liver Jace" :)
