Hayden's Point Of View

All of us were sitting in the meeting room, bored out of our minds, Krystal was right, FBI people was sure fussy and boring. Even the official meetings in the past I had weren't this boring.

They were all grumbling about the court date and the lawyers while we sat there staring into space. We weren't even allowed to talk which Sieg and Oliver learned the hard way when they randomly started giggling like pre-school kids, they were shot dirty looks by everyone but us in the room.

Krystal had been absent from the meeting because she had to go to a crime scene to investigate, at least that was what we were told.

When I was about to lose patience, their discussion came to an end and they abruptly left the room, we looked at each other in confusion.

"Does anyone know why did they left?" Kuon said staring the door as it closed shut.

"I doubt anyone was listening anyway," I said tiredly.

"Well, I did," The secretary, Grace, who was Max's girlfriend smiled, "They had went to contact the court about the date, which was one week from today and about the lawyer."

"Which lawyer did they decided to use?" I asked.

"No idea, I think they are going to ask the court," Grace said with a shrug. With that, she closed her laptop shut and walked out of the room.

"I guess we should head back to the hotel?" Ivan said shooting an innocent officer a glare as he passed by without greeting him.

"Let's go before Ivan picks up a gun and start shooting everyone here," Aslan suggested.

"Aw, but I wanted to see that happen!" Oliver pouted as we dragged him away.

Krystal's Point Of View

We were here where the little girl was murdered, it was already cleaned up but still sealed away from the public.

"So the security camera's view was the girl got knocked by rock from behind her head and was thrown inside?" I said pointing at the fountain.

"Yes, and the murderer was 5'4 tall, pretty slim and wearing a black hat, matching black sweater and jeans. She was wearing an Adidas sneaker. From the camera's, the murderer was suspected to be a woman." The woman who work here told me solemnly.

"Yes, but it could still be a man in a woman's disguise," I said unsure.

I looked at the workers standing around, they were too short or tall to be 5'4, too fat to be called slim and no one was highly suspicious. No wonder this was a cold case.

"The victim was from a fairly wealthy family, I won't be surprise if her murderer was from her father's company or someone after her father's money," A worker's whisper caught my attention.

"That's true, but there was a rumor that her father's lover killed her because of jealousy."

"No one knows for sure though."

I sighed, this case will be tough to solve, but I am determined to solve in which way I can.

Aslan's Point Of View

"I want to go out," I said with a sigh. We had been stuck in the hotel room for the past 24 hours. I peered from the small gap from the curtain, unfortunately, the whole hotel was swarmed with paparazzi.

"They're not gone yet?" Hayden said lifting up his cards for me to see. I smiled slyly, we were playing Double Duo, a card game where we paired up together to see our teamwork.

Cheating was absolutely forbidden in the game, well kinda.

"Why do you two always have the same cards at the same time, it's weird." Ivan said glaring up at us, Hayden gave him a small grin while I tried to hide my panic. Hayden always knew how to lie better than I do.

"Oy, focus on your cards, you're making us lose," Oliver joked, shoving his partner, Sieg, a little. He glared at him while gripping his cards,"it's not my fault, it's because of your stubbornness that is making us lose."

"Oh, I got a chance!" Kuon said in delight. I nodded towards Hayden subtly, we had tampered with the cards before the game. I gave him a card that is certain to bring bad luck.

"It says..." Kuon's voice trailed off, Ivan read the card's instruction loudly,"Both you and your partner are out of the game, what?"

"Ahahaha, that means we're in second place." Oliver said with a stupid grin on his face as he high five with Sieg.

We continued playing cards, well cheating for Hayden and I, just as the doorbell rang. It was Krystal.

"Welcome, how did you managed to get pass the paparazzi?" Ivan asked opening the door.

"I'm not a prince like you, Your Royal Smartness," Krystal said sarcastically as we laughed, Her eyes swept over the room as she dumped the piles of documents on the table.

"What's that?" I asked, opening one of the documents. List of possible lawyers and court dates, ew, we have to go through this again?

"Leave me out of this, you can give it to my brother," I said frowning at the documents. "I already did, the prince should be able to mail an answer by tomorrow unless special circumstances surfaces," she answered calmly.

We continued playing cards while Ivan, Kuon and Krystal sipped on their tea. Krystal's eyes was following us sharply, I think she could sense that we were cheating.

Oh please no, the other princes are going to kill us if they find out.

Just as I was on my wit's end, Ivan pointed underneath the table, "Both Hayden and Aslan are cheating, look under their table!"

What? It was Ivan who found out? The other princes waved the cards we hid in the drawer of the table in frustration, "That was why I lost so much!" Oliver cried out while whacking Sieg on the head, "and you dare say I had bad luck today!'

"All of the 'chance' cards are all bad," Kuon said in disbelief.

"How could you, I trusted you!" Oliver wailed while shaking my shoulders back and forth, I felt very dizzy.

But wait, I know Ivan isn't that sharp to know we were cheating anyway, unless it was....

I turned towards Krystal on the side of the room, she was sitting silently while sipping on her tea, but I could see a smile forming on her lips.

Dang, I underestimated her.
