Krystal's Point Of View

I was lounging on my desk, patiently waiting for the chime of the bells to announce that today's work is finish. Just as I was waiting, my phone beeped three times.

I sighed in frustration, who would want me to meet them at this hour?

I pushed myself out of the comfy chair and walked to the room that I was assigned to.

317, 318, 319. Here I am. I yanked open the door, not even bothering to knock.

I froze in my tracks when I saw Mike's expression, his face was grim and not like the sensible, outgoing guy that I knew. He means business.

"What do you want me here?" I asked cautiously.

"Take a look at this report," he said tossing me a green file that I recognize. I had passed up the file including the report just yesterday.

I flipped open the file and scanned through the contents. My eyebrows raised in shock, it had several mistakes which wasn't even minor. I had double checked this report before I passed it up, I knew I couldn't forgotten about this mistake.

I was about to tell Mike about that, but I bit my lip at the last minute. He looked pretty frustrated and if I told him anything now, it would be just excuses to him.

"I'm sorry," I said, finally spatting out the words. I felt anger bubbling inside my chest, I hate getting blamed for a mistake that I didn't do. Who the heck did this horrible mess anyway?

"I'm disappointed, Krystal, your reports had always been free of mistakes. This report was supposed to passed to the higher authorities, if I didn't check it, you would have gotten into serious trouble."

I stayed silent, I looked down the table, pretending to be ashamed, but inside of me is thinking the opposite. I was determined to find out the rat.

"Do you understand me?"

"Yes, sir," I said silently, he looked pleased with my answer, "Good, you are now released from your duties, thank you for your participation."

I nodded and stood up, I left the room with hands clenched into fists.

Three Days Later

I was working on another project that is researching people's bank account. I felt my eyes felt droopy, it was incredibly boring assignment to do but I had simply no choice to accept.

I was supposed to check the people listed but I ended up clicking on random person's account instead. I searched up various celebrities bank account's and was you won't believe how many zero's was on the screen.

The perk's of being a FBI member though.

Just then, I saw a man's picture popped up on the laptop screen. His face looked familiar. I raked my brain for a second and I remembered he was the lawyer in charge for the prince's case. He showed a lot of promises that's why we chose to him.

James Carter Lou, what a strange name, I thought to myself before scrolling down.

Wait, shouldn't I check his background? A thought flashed upon my mind. I wanted to dismiss the thought because we had checked into his profile before we had hired him. I clicked into his profile and my jaw dropped open.

What the...?
