Krystal's Point Of View

I knitted my eyebrows and sighed, my fingers tapped on the keyboard furiously.

"Hey, do you want to take a break? I made some coffee." My roommate, Maia says as she walks into the living room.

"No thanks, I'm almost done," I say glaring at the screen,"There, finished!"

"Congratulations! I made some tacos and coffee, want one?" Maia smiles and I gratefully took a bite of the taco.

When I first moved here, I really liked Maia, which was weird since I hated almost everybody. She was kind and patient and just a few years older than me, guess that's why she's a nurse.

I gulped down the coffee, I liked the bitterness of the coffee, its like my life.

"Seriously, you really are stubborn, they pushed you so hard yet you don't have a care in the world?" Maia says referring to my co-workers.

"Well, I have to prove them wrong." I say as I stared at my cup.

"Whatever you say, dear." She says with a smile and I smiled back.

It was another meeting with the princes, they had been temporary staying in the safe house a few miles from here, we had been through a few meetings already, but the chickens decided it was too dangerous to hack into their website.

"We could break into their den and caught them off guard and put them in jail." Officer Mark suggested.

"No, we can't, we don't have the evidence to do so." I snapped, this meeting is getting no where.

The head officer, George Lee seems to notice the same thing and finally he says,"Look, this is my idea, we will get a few of our employees and secure the safe house."

He raises an eyebrow at me to continue,"We could split two teams, one to secure the safe house, the other to find evidence."

"Great, this is end of the discussion. I shall post the names at the board today. Thank you for spending your time with us." George says.

I wonder which group I would be put under, there's a fifty-fifty chance of both. I headed down to the training room, which helps me relax my mind.

I changed out of my jeans and black T-shirt to a tank top and shorts. Grabbing my boxing gloves, I stood in front of a punching bag and continue punching it.

I don't know how much time has passed as somebody taps me on the shoulder, it was Veronica, a co-worker of mine.

"The names has been released. You should go and see which group you're in." She informs and walks away.

I changed my outfit and skips downstairs, my fingers still throbbing for punching for so long. There was a group of people squabbling in front of the board. Without taking a notice in them, I pushed past them till I was in front of the board.

Project 04628BW

Group A will be put in charge for finding new evidence and Group B will be put in charge for securing the safe house.

I skimmed pass the list till I found my own name.

Krystal Jung-Group A

I smiled and walk away, suddenly remembering I was on night shift and quickly went to the control room.

"Oh, I was waiting for you." Max says as I step inside the room. Max was also one of the people whom I actually cared about.

"Can I change shifts with you?" Max says and I grinned,"What shift do you want to change for?"

"Tomorrow morning, I have something to do tomorrow. I'll change for your night shift." Max reasoned.

"Sure, why not? I need some sleep today." I say.

"Thanks," he says at the same time I say,"You have a date tomorrow?"

"I uh-no, maybe I guess." Max stuttered and I laugh gleefully.

"I actually need some advice, I don't really know anything about dates." Max pleaded.

"Buy her some roses while you're at her door, open the door for her, eat dinner at some expensive restaurant?"

"Hey, who knew you had this in you?" Max teased.

"Oi, I watch some sappy romance movies from time to time." I say as we burst out laughing.

I was about to leave as Max called out to me,"What?" I asked as he gives me a cheeky grin,"Thanks, I really needed the advice." He states and I smiled at him.

"Anytime, Max." I say while I walked away.
