Paru visited the clinic the following morning, and he had hitched a ride with Morgy. His horse was big enough for two!

"Gooood mornin', Fordy!" They dismounted and greeted me at the door. "I hope you're hungry, because we got up bright an' early to make you..." Paru opened a sealed tub filled with pistou soup! They had truly outdone themselves this time.

"This is spectacular. You have my thanks. My my, I cannot believe why some people say that three's a crowd."

"I can..." Morgy muttered under his breath so nobody could hear.

"So, can we come in?" I invited them both inside and made them a hot cup of tea. I had forgotten that Morgan disliked this beverage, and replaced it with one of my other drinks at once.

"Kale smoothie? Now this is proper health food." Morgy grinned and didn't protest like I had expected. He was the first to respond positively to my blends. "Paru? Is it not to your tastes?" He turned to look at the floor and muttered,

"Not really. Sorry."

"Perhaps more sugar in your smoothie will make you a little less bitter," I chuckled, making a light-hearted joke. "I apologise. I did not mean that as an attack to your personality."

"It's fine. Anyway, I'd better be off," Morgy left the room immediately, and we had suspected he was gone.

"At last, a moment to ourselves. How has the doctoring stuff been going for you, Forden?" Paru inquired curiously.

"It wasn't easy, but I got my degree, and now I am here to help anyone in need of medical aid. So, what are your thoughts on Morgan?"

"He's got attitude. I thought he was nice at first. I thought his comment was simply a question, but I believe now that it was a form of insult." Paru seemed quite unhappy with Morgan, and I would have to speak with him later. I opened the door to find him sitting with his back pressed against the wall, staring at his feet.

"Morgy?! Are you- Are you listening in on our conversation?"

"I wasn't trying to. I was just waiting for you to be done. I wanted to speak with you."

"Well, I'm glad you're still here, because I need to talk to you as well." Morgan's face turned white, as he was always fearful of being provoked.

"Erm... S-sure..." He followed me into the bathroom, and I locked the door behind us.

"Right. Why are you being so sour today? You're making Paru feel uncomfortable. Is there anything troubling you?"

"No!" He snapped unconvincingly. "Okay... I'm just- Stop LISTENING, Paru!"

"Sorry!"

"Okay, it's because I'm..." Morgan turned bright pink. "I'm just jealous, okay? You seemed to show more care towards Paru and I'm just a clingy little kid. I'm sorry."

"Jealous? Don't be absurd! I'll always love you the most. You're too precious not to be my favourite boy in the world."

"I was being an idiot. I'm sorry for being so petty." He turned to my cabinet. "Hmm? You still have that powder of truth? But that stuff could rip apart bonds!"

"Hrm. Not when used in moderation. I feel as if, perhaps, I am not too much of an expert at expressing my emotions. When you want to hear how I truly feel about you, or anything else, just grab that pot." We left the room with a smile on our faces.

"So... You two okay?" Paru was staring at us.

"Yes, we just needed to clear the air between us. Nothing for you to fret about."
