My love admired like leaves
Vibrant only for the season
Crisping, falling
In the next
As loneliness embeds itself
Static encircles every thought
My insecurities mirrored
By unwilling actions
Freewill may only be practiced
By those untouched
By whispers
Carried on arctic winds
Blown by mental illness
The key to surviving
It's frigid storms
Matching each crippling gust
With a taste of northern light
Your kiss
Is my Aurora Borealis
