Old Friends And New Loves {Twilight x TVD}

Chapter 1

Bella and Renesmee were standing on hill covered in a blanket of snow, along with Jacob in his wolf form.

Renesmee runs ahead of her mother and her imprint, happily dancing around in the snow that is falling around her.

Bella watches her daughter with loving eyes before looking down at Jake, "Edward thinks we'll find answers in Brazil. They have legends there that might give us some answers."

Just as she finishes her sentence Renesmee comes running up to them, "Look a snowflake!" the little girl says to her mother. Bella squats down to her daughters heir and smiles at her, "It's beautiful. Why don't you go catch another one?" Giving her mom a final smile, Renesmee takes off running again, chasing after snowflakes.

Bella and Jacob watch as Nessie jumps high in the air to catch another snowflake, but they all froze when they saw someone watching them. Nessie landed on the ground and quickly ran over to Bella and Jacob, wrapping herself around Jacob's leg. "Who is that?" She asked looking up at her mother. "I think that's our cousin from Denali." Bella answered her daughter, not taking her eyes off the blonde across from them. "Irina!" Bella calls out before taking off running and jumping to the other cliff only to find that Irina was already gone.

The Cullen House

The Cullens, minus Alice, Bree, Emmett, and the Hale twins, were spread around their living/music room.

Carlisle sighs softly and lays the phone he had been taking on down on the table. "Tanya convinced Irina to come reconcile with us." he says as he leans back into the couch, wrapping his arm around Esme, who sits at his side.

"Looks like she changed her mind." Edward says from his spot at the piano with his wife and daughter.

Esme leans into Carlisle and says
"Seeing Jacob must have been to much for her."

"I wish I could've just talked to her." Bella says as she shakes her head slightly, trying to calm herself down.

"She's family, she'll come around." Carlisle says with a soft smile and then kisses the side of Esme's head, pulling her further into his side. Bella and Edward smile at them before looking down at their daughter.

Edward starts playing the lullaby that he wrote for Bella, and slowly Renesmee starts to catch on and play with him as everyone else in the room smiles at them.

Volterra, Italy

In the Volturi Castle, Aro, Caius, and Marcus were standing around a table, and flipping through some of the many book that were laid near them.

Suddenly, the giant wood doors of the room were pushed open by a member of the guard. Irina Denali walked through the doorway quickly, her face showing all of the worry and fear that she was feeling.

Aro looked away from the book he had been reading and up at her, "What a pleasant surprise." he said before going back to his book.

Caius slammed his book down on the table and looked at Irina with an irritated look on his face, "What do you want?" he questioned her.
