It was shortly after Annabeths 21th birthday.

Percy and Annabeth were both sitting in on the couch, Percy studying for his diploma as a marine biologist and Annabeth sketching a draft for a building she wanted to redesign on the olymp because Apollo destroyed it with his Music when he got angry.

Suddenly Percy looked up from his Books. "Annabeth, say we would get married...would you rather keep it low key or make a big party?"

"Is that a proposal?" "If you want," Percy smiled slyly.

"Well then I suggest you find out what I have to say." Annabeth smiled slightly at Percy. They sat in peace for hours until they fell asleep next to each other.

The next day a Saturday, Percy called Grover.

"Hey, ahm big news. I am going to propose to Annabeth and I need a ring. Please don't tell anyone about it. I wanna keep it low at first, kay?"

"Damn, that's cool. Shall I help you with something?"

"Would you be my best man?"

"I would be honored to. Ofcourse man what a question!"

"Nice, thanks Groover. See ya. Gotta get the Ring."

Percy put away his Phone and slipped in his Shoes and made his way to a Jewlerystore he saw across the street from the Falafelshop Magnus loved so much when he visited a few weeks ago.

When he entered the shop, a little bell over the door rang quietly. An elderly women appeared behind a red curtain which separated the store part of the house to probably a kitchen.

The women was really old, around 89 years Percy would say if he had to guess. She had short, white, curly hair which didn't quiet reached her ears. She had glasses with thick lenses. A big smile was plastered on her face when she saw Percy and her wrinkly face got even wrinklier.

"Good evening young man. What can I do for you?" the woman asked in a light and calm voice. "Well there is this girl...we went through a lot and I really would like to marry her. I wanted to ask if you are making custom rings?"

"Yes we do. You have time? Then we could make the design if you already know it?"

"Oh that would be fantastic."

The woman winked him to follow her and made her way slowly to the red curtain she appeared behind.

"It's the blonde girl right?"

"Wha-? Ahm...yes," he scrached his neck and blushed slightly.

"How-" "How do I know? Sweety, I saw many boys with their girls and only a few have this special thing when they talk or lok at their partner. You, I remember you. You were at the restaurant across the street with some other people and I directly knew it would be you two. The chemistry, everybody can see that. Even my shortsighted me. Believe me, what you both have is rare." "Oh. Yeah well. We have been to hell and back and I am really lucky to have her." "Oh I can tell," the women smiled to herself.

"Take a seat," the woman showed Percy a chair and sat down next to him. Before them a drawing Tablet with a pencil. The tablet was connected to a computer which looked like it was from the 1900. But it worked.

"What Ideas do you have in that head of yours?" she asked adjusting the settings and opening a new file.

"I thought of a simple gold ring, slim and wearable but not to easy to loose and a really small hear engraved in the top. Also on the inside should be engraved Seewedbrain and Wisegirl."

"That's it?" "Yes. Nothing to expensive and something that isn't the typical eye catcher." "You really are a nice young man," the lady said. "D you want a wedding ring to?" "I think for that I come here with her," he said with sparkling eyes. "Well then, since it will be easy to make that you can come tomorrow to get it." "Thank you very much."

That day Percy just radiated with joy. He reserved a boat to see Manhattan from the see for him to propose.

Percy came home to walk in Annabeth cooking.

"Hello Wisegirl. How was your Meeting over your new idea for that building. They liked the idea but Hera disagreed. She didn't want such an expensive Building." "That's rich coming from her." "Yeah well...how was your day?" "Oh I thought of a birthday present for you." "A bit late but I won't compain," she smiled and turned to him to give him a hug. Percy hugged her back and rested his chin on top of Annabeths blonde locks. She smelled like old books but still like a fresh breeze coast. Her special smell. He placed a kiss on the top of her head and whispered "I love you Annabeth. I love you so much." He heard he chuckling slightly. "I love you too, sewed brain."

The next day Percy went to pick up the rings. He paid them and they were perfect. Now he just had to wait for the next weekend for his trip.

The time passed slowly and Percy always went insane by keeping his secret a secret. But the day finally came.

He dragged Annabeth to the coast and they rowed far away on the ocean so the lights of New York and the Moon were the only light sources. The only sounds they heard were their own breathing and the slopping of the waves on the wood of the boat. The air smelled salty and everything was perfect.

"Annabeth?" "Hm?" "You have been with me from the beginning. We didn't liked each other first but that obviously changed. We have been through thick and thin and basically to hell and back. So here we are with almost a normal life. We got used to everything together and lived our lives litterly together. So I wanted to ask you, would you be up to sharing the rest of your life with me, to overcome the obstacles of life with me, to grow old with me? Will you marry me?"

Tears rolled down Annabeths face and she had the biggest smile Percy had ever seen.

"YES, Oh my gods yes," she whisper shouted. Percy showed her the plain Ring and shoved it on her finger. Annabeth stared at it and gave Percy a big kiss.

So they got married. They never told anyone never mentioned it. About nine years later the talked about having Kids. So they both tried for Kids. A few months their tries were unsuccessful but finally it worked. Shortly after, they had a family come together with dinner and all.

Percys family consisting of Sally, Estelle and Paul and Annabeths family with her dad, her little stepbrothers, her stepmom. Along with Grover, Nico, Will, Piper and her dad, Hazel and Frank, Leo and Calypso, Thalia, Magnus and Alex. They rented a big Table at a Retsaurant big enough Annabeth was in her 3rd month and luckily she could eat what she want.

After they raised their glasses for thanks giving, Percy tapped his spoon against his glass of wine.

"I wanted to announce something." "Oh you finally getting married," Sally shouted.

"Oh, they already are," Grover stated. Everybody looked shocked to Grover and then to Annabth and Percy.

"About that," Annabeth tucked a golden lock behind her ears. "We got married 9 years ago. Just a little thing between us. Never celebrated it. But that's not what Percy wanted to tell you." "Right we wanted to announce that Annabeth is pregnant with our baby."

Everybody congratulated the pair and in the evening when every was home again Percy and Annabeth layed in their Bed.

"Do we wanna celebrate it maybe? Like with our family?" Percy asked into the darkness of the room. "Hmm...yes why not?"

And with that they fell asleep.
