Ok Giovanni is near the Palac(Palace) Riccardo I reminded myself. After reading about Alesky Saitek I knew this was going to be hard. Nicarus did tell me to go to Giovanni if I needed help, and i'm going to need all the help I can get. The streets of Malbork is very bussy today. It was a beautiful day. People were busy buying fruits, pots, and rugs at the markets. The streets were jam packed. I had to weave my way through people to find a clear spot. Some tourists were checking out the sights Malbork had to offer.

I walked over to an Art Merchant. The guy there saw me and said "Czesc(Hello). How may I help you?" I smiled at him, trying to keep my eyes down, and asked him, "Do you have a map?" "Tak(Yes), right here." As he handed me a peice of paper I gave him some money. "Dziekuje(thank you)." "Mile widziane(your welcome). Come again."

I walked away and looked at the map. "Ok there is the Palace Riccardo. So Giovanni is somewhere around here." I nodded and started heading toward the Palac Riccardo.

As I was walking along the gray cobblestone path I heard someone yell "Zlodziej(thief)!" Right as I turned around I felt someone take my money pouch. "Hey give my money back!" I yelled at this thief. They turned around and said "Never!" I saw it was a guy. I started running after him.

He jumped over boxes and carts. Soon I saw him start to climb onto a rooftop. I sprinted to the building and climbed after him. When I got up on the tiled roof I saw him jumping from roof to roof. I was right behind him.

All of a sudden I lost sight of him. I don't know why though. His scent was still in the air. I followed it until I smelled it down a building. I looked over and saw him climbing down with great difficulty. I looked around. There! a cart full of straw was just sitting there.

I backed up and jumped. I was flying through the air. The wind almost lifting up my hood. Soon I was falling. I didn't flail around, I was calm. I was soon met by the straw all around me. I popped up out of the straw and looked up at the building I just jumped off from. The thief was still on the building.

Some people stopped to look at me since I did just jump out of a cart full of hay, but they moved on.

I walked over by the building and waited. A few moments later I heard heavy breathing. I looked up and saw he was almost down. He didn't see me so he continued to climb down.

As soon as his feet touched the ground I grabbed him and slammed him against the wall. He reeked of dirty pond water and filthy trash. I wasn't going to be here for long.

"Wha- What do you want from me?" He asked, quivering in fear. The way I held him told him that I meant business. I was careful not to show my eyes. If I did he would know that I am something totally different.

"All I want is my money back." I told him sternly.

He reached down to his side and grabbed my pouch along with a bright red pouch, his I assume."Here, here take all my money, just please let me leave in peace." I saw some guards in a dark green uniform coming onto this street. I leaned my head over to his shoulder and whispered in his ear "Don't do this. There is a better way to live. Go, now."

I pushed him away and quickly climbed up to the roof of a building.

When I got to the top I looked around. I have never realized how beautiful Poland really was. There are colors everywhere. Far, far away from where I was standing I could just make out the rolling green and yellow lands that where home to the horses and cows. Even farther away I could see the woods, home to many wild animals.

I looked back around to look at Malbork. I closed my eyes and listened.

"Come and look what we have to offer! Please look! You won't be disappointed!"I heard a salesman say. Then I heard the clopping of horses hooves hitting the cobbled stoned path.

I opened my eyes. I was wasting time. I needed to find Giovanni. My eyes scanned the area for a palace. Bingo.

I started running northeast from where I was just standing. As I was running I smelled some warm pastries. If I was still human my mouth would have watered, no I would be drooling. "Hey you get down!" I heard someone say.

I turned around and saw an archer who was also on the top of the buildings. He was looking at me with his hands on his bow. "You shouldn't be up here. Leave now!"

I didn't want to get into a fight so I followed his advice and jumped off.

The air whipped around me until I hit straw. I heard the guard up on the roof say "What the-" but then shrugged and left. I popped up out of the straw and kept moving.

Before I knew it I was standing, looking up at the Palac Riccardo. It was made out of white stone. It must have taken a long time to create I thought to myself. I tore my eyes away from the palace and walked on.

Nicarus said Giovanni lived near the Palace in a small brown house. I circled around the Palace 3 times before I found a house that fit the description.

As I neared the house I smelled vampire. But something about this vampire scent was different from everyone else.I walked up the porch steps and rang the doorbell. All of a sudden I became nervous. What if this vampire thought I was here to steal his territory? What if he killed me?I crossed my legs. Well it was fun while it lasted I thought when I heard someone walking to the door.

The door opened. I was met by a guy with short black hair with a little stubble on his chin. He was wearing a dark green shirt that overlapped his dark brown pants.

What kept me staring though was that this vampire had dark brown eyes. "Hello." he said to me. I didn't have time to answer because the last thing I felt was a club hitting the back of my head.
