Forget Me

Ch 14: Mistakes Have Been Made

Ty's POV

I should have known this would happen.

He forgot about me.

He freaking forgot!

We planned a day of parkour yesterday, and now that it's time to start, he's nowhere to be seen. He was the one who thought of the parkour idea in the first place, and now he hasn't even bothered to show up. The least he could do is call me and tell me he'd be late.

Or that he wouldn't be here at all.

So, who wants to bet he's off somewhere with Alesa? He spends way too much time with her. I mean, yes, I'm glad he's moved on from Dawn, but seriously – I just want my best friend back.

I miss Sky so much.

He apparently doesn't miss me at all, seeing as he's blatantly skipped our parkour day. Honestly!

I've called Jason and a few of the others to see if they've heard from him, but of course they haven't. And, obviously, I tried calling and texting Sky, but he didn't respond. The idiot's probably snogging Alesa's face off by now.

Oh, yeah, he told me about their relationship. I don't mind, I'm certainly happy for him, but, dude – you've gotta have limits. If he keeps spending this much time with her, he'll get tired of her, and that won't end well.

I knock lightly on the door in front of me, sighing in defeat. I won't be getting hold of Sky today, so I might as well hang out with someone else.

"Ty? What are you doing here?"

"I'm bored beyond comprehension, Seto. Amuse me."

"That sounds like something Sky would say."

"You say that as if he's dead, or just a memory!"

Seto shrugs. "He just isn't around us much anymore. It's only been a week since he and Alesa started dating, and already he's managed to block us out of his life."

I sigh, stepping past Seto. He rolls his eyes but doesn't say anything since this is basically my second home. Seto and I spend a lot of time together. Usually I just help him test potions. I don't know, it keeps me entertained.

"Ugh, don't even speak of that boy. We had planned out an entire day of parkour, but he didn't even show up at the first jump map!" I groan, flopping down on Seto's couch.

He closes the door and then moves to sit by me. "Did he at least call you?"

"No! He didn't warn me at all, so I was left to stand there at the entrance like an idiot for three hours all by myself!"

His eyes widen. "Three hours? Why on earth did you wait for three hours?"

I huff, crossing my arms and looking down at the floor. "He promised he'd be there."

"Oh, Ty, I'm sorry," Seto says sympathetically as a sad smile takes place on his face. "But don't worry. Once he's over the buzz of dating someone again, he'll hopefully have more time to spend with his friends."

"Thanks, I guess," I mumble, still staring at the floor.

"Ay, Seto, have you seen Sky?" Mitch asks as he and Jerome barge through the front door.

Seto glares at them. "Sure, of course you can come in!" he says sarcastically.

Mitch grins apologetically. "But seriously, have either of you seen Sky?"
