Wakamatsu had always struggled with sleep; he had been diagnosed with chronic insomnia since he was a small child. This meant that he would often lie awake til the early hours of the morning came, leaving him exhausted for the next day at school.

That was, until he found Lorelai's singing.

It was a sound as beautiful as a glorious sunset, her tone was like that of an angel - and within seconds of listening to her voice he was sound asleep.

He had no idea who this Lorelai of the glee club was no matter how hard he tried to find her. She was as elusive as a cat in the night-time. All he knew was that he was completely head over heels for her.

Along came camping season and the school basketball club decided to take a trip into the country and go camping for the weekend in the hopes of getting back to nature. Wakamatsu was pretty torn on this idea as on one hand he liked the idea of the fun club activities planned while they were out in the wild, but the thought of spending an entire weekend with seo-senpai where nobody could hear him scream made him wary.

Soon the trip weekend came, and he was on the bus on his way there, he had been stressed about the trip after Nozaki had convinced him that seo would lead him out to the wilderness and push him off a ledge for fun, so he had packed his bag rather haphazardly.

"Waka!!" Came a loud voice from the front of the bus. He cringed at the noise and looked up to find seo running full pelt at him. "Senpai i-" he didn't have time to protest before she barrelled into him, chucking her bags onto the seat next to him.

"Aww you saved me a seat, you're such a sap waka" she grinned amusedly

"Actually I-" he was once again cut off

"don't try to deny it kouhai, you're trying to impress your senpai, well I'm not won over easily" she winked

Wakamatsu resigned himself to the fact seo was now going to be sat with him for the rest of the trip, "maybe she will fall asleep" he hoped inwardly as she chattered on to him teasingly.

It was late before they arrived at the camp where the tents were set up, most of the students had now either fallen asleep or fallen silent as the travel fatigue set in. Waka however was wide awake.

"Finally," seo yawned "took them long enough. C'mon waka lets go see where we are staying"

"Um senpai my tent will be separate from yours remember- "Wakamatsu blushed

"Never mind that, get up" she demanded

They made their way off the bus and looked around for their tents, to wakas dismay his tent was right next to seos. Seo however seemed more enthused about this idea.

After some directions from the camp manager about what to expect from the week a campfire was set up to prepare some quick supper for those that wanted it and also to provide some sociable light.

Waka was trying feebly to toast a marshmallow over the fire but just couldn't seem to get the right knack and the sweet kept getting irredeemably burnt in the hot flames.

"No waka, like this" came an authoritative voice from/beside him and before he knew what was happening seo had reached over and given him a fresh marshmallow, holding his hand out the correct distance from the fire. He stammered a confused response, blushing at the sudden contact. Her touch was firm but not painful like when she tackled him in gym class. He glanced up at her face which was illuminated by the campfire, the flame dancing in the reflection of her eyes. He was taken aback by how the soft lighting made her features seem gentle. "She looks almost...cute..." he thought to himself idly, before shaking his head to-rid himself of such a thought "don't be stupid, this is seo we are talking about" he reprimanded himself silently.
