Some fluff this chapter :)
Note: this is the next day after the confrontationSabito quickly made his way to Y/n's home, deciding midway that they would probably appreciate a gift as well. So he stopped by a nearby convenience store. He went to one of the aisles, picking up some of Y/n's favorite food before going to cashier and paying. Just as he left, he bumped into Giyu who looked pretty miserable.
"Sabito..." He mumbled.
"Hey." Sabito greeted.
"I....how is- is Y/n okay?" He asked.
"I don't know. I was on my way to visit them just now." Sabito replied.
"Oh," Giyu looked at the ground.
"Well um...I'm sorry." He said.
Sabito scoffed.
"Your apologies don't mean anything to me."
Giyu sighed but nodded.
"Okay."
Sabito bumped his shoulder as he walked past him, not wanting to speak with Giyu any longer or he was afraid he'd punch him.Sabito soon arrived at Y/n's home, a bag in hand as he knocked on the door. Y/n opened it, their hair messy and unkempt, red eyes and snotty nose, clothes disheveled. They looked terrible.
"Oh Y/n..." Sabito frowned at their state, dropping the bag and pulling them in for a much needed hug.
Y/n hugged him back, arms wrapping around him as they cried once more, wetting Sabito's shirt but he didn't care. All he wanted was for his friend to be okay."Let's go to your room, okay? I brought you some stuff, too." Sabit said softly, rubbing his friend's back.
Y/n nodded, quickly leading him to their room. Once there, Sabito made note of the messy room and decided he'd help and clean up later. He sat at the edge of Y/n's bed as they layed down, sulking.
"Do you need anything? Water? Food? Actually, I brought you this." He said before grabbing the bag he'd dropped before and handing it to Y/n, watching as they sat up and took out the contents."Thanks.." They sniffed, a small smile finally making it on their face.
Sabito smiled in return, watching as his friend ate. He stood up and decided to clean up, be productive or whatever. He picked up some tops, bottoms, and socks off the floor, putting them all in a basket near the door. He proceeded to organize the rest of the room, by the time he was finished, Y/n had fallen asleep.Sabito stared at them fondly, he felt so bad for them. He hated seeing them like this. He slowly made his way over to them, sitting on the edge next to them.
"I won't let anybody hurt you again, I promise you that." He whispered as if Y/n could hear him.
He took a deep breath. He couldn't help but stare at their sleeping face. They looked so peaceful, so...he couldn't describe it. Well, he could, he just felt flustered at the thought.Sabito looked out at the window, deciding it was time for him to go. He stood up but was held back, Y/n's hand had grabbed ahold of his wrist. Their eyes slowly opened, they were clearly tired.
"Please stay.." They asked.
He smiled, how could he say no?
"Okay, scoot over." He said.
Y/n made room for him on their bed as he layed next to them. They'd slept with one another countless times before as children but this time felt different somehow?Y/n cuddled up to Sabito as he hesitantly wrapped an arm around them.
"G'night." Y/n mumbled, falling asleep shortly after.
God, he didn't know how long he could last before he finally broke. Y/n was utterly and completely irresistible. Unfortunately, he still had to play the role of "friend" despite how much he hated that term. But he decided he could hold out a bit longer, at least for Y/n's sake.
"Goodnight." Sabito mumbled.
He placed a peck on Y/n's forehead before falling asleep as well. But despite all of this, despite promising he could hold out longer and be the friend Y/n needed at a time like this, Sabito couldn't help but want more. He wanted to call Y/n his and for them to call him theirs. God, he hated this, so damn much.
