It had been a few weeks now, things seemed to fall back into place. Giyu was slowly but surely reconciling with everyone, especially Y/n. Even though they still felt hurt, they couldn't help but forgive the boy they still loved for all the hurt he had caused them. It was hard but they were willing to try.

Sabito watched slowly as Y/n became happier, livelier, and just overall better. Perhaps, all they really needed was Giyu back. Sabito felt stupid. He felt dumb for ever thinking that he had a chance with them.

It was a weekend, Sabito had declined Y/n's invitation of hanging out with the rest of their friends, saying he felt sick. Which wasn't a lie, either. He had a headache as well as a slight stomach ache. Sabito lay on his bed, burying his face in his pillow. He was happy that Giyu was back and that he was making Y/n happy. But he also hated it, he hated Giyu for taking Y/n away. Sabito felt like they were finally going somewhere but of course, things just never seem to go his way. Perhaps it was time he got over them?

It was 2 am now on a Friday, Sabito lay in bed except it wasn't his, Y/n's, or anyone he knew well. It was a random person he'd met while out on a walk. They'd come up to him, asking him for his number since they thought he was cute. Sabito felt flustered, he hadn't really ever heard anyone call him that. So he gave the person their number. Slowly, they had begun talking over the course of a few days until it all eventually came to a climax in which Sabito had found himself at their house. He was dragged in by the collar of his shirt, the person, who he'd come to know by the name of Kaoru, had placed their lips on his, inviting him into their bedroom. It was then that Sabito had forgotten all about Y/n and Giyu. As Kaoru's soft hands traced and explored his body and his their's, he finally felt loved, wanted, appreciated.

That was how it all began. The cycle of ignoring and neglecting all his friends, including Y/n, he acted cold toward them especially. He went over to Kaoru's home whenever he could to indulge himself in the act of love making. He had to admit he didn't feel anything for Kaoru. At least, not in the beginning anyway. He came to know them more and more, learning their likes and dislikes, their little pet peeves, their favorite color, their favorite food, how they liked their coffee in the morning, all the little things he came to know and memorize.

Slowly, their nights turned into more than just fucking, they turned into something more passionate, something filled with more love. Normally, Sabito would get up and get dressed and go home after they'd finished but now, he would lay in bed with Kaoru, wrapping his arms around them as he felt them slowly go to sleep. He'd protect them, just like he would have protected Y/n.

Oh, of course by now, he barely even remembered who Y/n was.
