Megumi was reeling, flipping between states of sheer panic and confusion. This had been the first thing that he anticipated, as well as the very last thing he hoped for. Not only did he now have to fight for his own life, but he also had to find a way to subdue the curse without killing it's host in the process.
"Wait a minute," Megumi started as Koharu giggled and cackled, wrapping her arms around herself, "Where's the woman? What did you do?"
Megumi quickly stood to his feet as the woman took two steps forward.
"She's gone, for good!! This is my body now..." Koharu hissed out as her laughter died down, and her facial expressions warped to something truly malevolent, sending chills shooting down Megumi's spine.
"And I'm making my next target....... you." Koharu said, not even a second before she lunged at Megumi with unmatched speed, forcing him to throw himself out of harm's way. She smashed into the wall, sending cracks all over the entirety of the wall, not enough to shatter it though.
"You're quick on your feet, male. But, not too quick for me!!!"
She sprinted toward Megumi, and he made quick work of clasping his hands together to summon Divine Dog. It charged toward Koharu at full speed, making her pace falter completely.
"Ugh, fucking hate dogs." She groaned as claws protracted from her fingers and she tried to jump to the ceiling. Fortunately, Divine Dog was quicker and more agile due to the resistance Koharu had been fighting since she switched with the body's host.
