[mondo pov]
"look, ichigo i love spendin' time with ya i really do but i gotta go. i promised chi i'd go to 'is house."
it was true, mondo didn't hate spending time with ichigo but he would much rather play mario kart or uno with leon chihiro and taka.
"why can't i come?"
"i'm sorry ichi, chihiro said i can't invite anyone to 'is house without permission," mondo said apologetically.
ichigo sighed "do you always have to leave before i can do this?" ichigo suddenly got really close to mondo, holding his arms and such.
"e-er what?"
ichigo giggled "this silly,"
then she did what any normal couple should be fine doing,

she kissed me!

taka? taka's kissing me!
mondo kissed back imagining he was kissing kiyotaka instead of his girlfriend.
ichigo pulled away.
"w-woah.. mondo i-" ichigo started
"oh shit.. ichigo i- i'm so fukin sorry.. but- i gotta go.." ichigo grabbed mondo's arm
"if you leave now- it- it's the end for us!" she looked so desperate, trying to cling onto me. she knew though, she knew what happened.
"ichigo-" mondo sighed "i'm sorry.."
ichigo let go of his arm "it's fine.. i- i understand" she looked so sad..
mondo ran, he ran and he ran, well that is before leon stopped him
"bro finally wait where's Taka?"
"i dont-"
"oh there he is! taka wait! why the fucks he running?"
"leon i have to go after him." mondo said seriously
"oooh i get it. okay be quick though."
"right."

mondo felt tears in his eyes

this isn't how it ends.
it can't be.
then day after day mondo tried to get taka's attention, at school, after school, online, he even tried his house again. but nothing worked. then after 3 months he gave up. nothing could make him happy, nothing helped. Mondo did eventually get over taka of course but it took 2 years and another girl he met at a bar.
Taka on the other hand.. well let's just say his father ended up finding out his sexuality and he's not living with him anymore. Taka tried getting in contact with mondo but by this point Mondo had stopped making contact with him aswell, however there was one person he could call.
"hey chihiro.. thanks for agreeing to meat me here."
"it's fine! seriously it's only been 1 year and you know.. mondo-"
"i'm not here for mondo."
"o-oh i see sorry."
"i'm here to ask if i could.. well live with you."
"huh?"
"well my father kicked me out and.. i have nowhere to go.. and i know i basically abandoned you and i'm so sorry but i've missed you so so much.. and i-"
chihiro rapped his arms around taka
"it's okay.. you can come live with me."
"thank you.."
so as you can see mondo and taka never even became friends again, they still both got their happy endings .. just not to their story together.
also taka did get a boyfriend if your wondering.

okay i know this chapter was a bit short but if anyone wants me to do an alternate ending that's more ishimondo then i might but only if someone asks because i have loads of ideas for other oneshots. okay stay swagay, bai :)
