Taking a deep breath, you prepared yourself for the next patient. The last two encounters had left you feeling a mix of emotions, but you couldn't let that deter you from your duties. The name on your list was Min Yoongi, and from the sparse notes, you gathered that he was a quiet, reserved individual who mostly kept to himself.

You walked down the corridor, your footsteps echoing off the tiled floor. Reaching the door to Yoongi's room, you hesitated for a moment before knocking softly. When there was no response, you gently pushed the door open.

Yoongi's room was somewhat tidy, more so than you had expected, but it lacked the meticulousness of Namjoon's space. Books and papers were scattered on a desk by the window, and the bed was unmade, but there was an underlying sense of order amidst the chaos. As you stepped inside, you noticed Yoongi sitting at the desk, hunched over a laptop. He looked up, his dark eyes meeting yours with a mixture of curiosity and irritation.

"Hello," you said softly, not wanting to startle him. "I'm Y/N, the new volunteer."

He nodded slightly, acknowledging your presence but saying nothing. His expression was neutral, almost detached, as if he was used to keeping people at a distance.

"I have your pills," you continued, holding up the tray. "Can I give them to you?"

Yoongi sighed and stood up, walking over to you. He took the cup and the glass of water without a word, quickly swallowing the pills. His movements were efficient, almost mechanical, as if this routine was just another part of his day.

"Thank you," you said, trying to gauge his reaction. He simply nodded again and returned to his desk.

As he sat down, you couldn't help but notice the laptop screen. There was a peculiar tab open, displaying something you couldn't quite make out from where you stood. Your curiosity was piqued, but you knew better than to pry.

However, Yoongi must have sensed your interest because he suddenly closed the laptop with a bit more force than necessary. The sound echoed in the quiet room, and he looked up at you with a sharp gaze.

"Is there anything else?" he asked, his tone clipped and irritable.

You shook your head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "No, that's all for now. I just... noticed your laptop. Sorry if I intruded."

Yoongi's eyes softened just a fraction, but his irritation was still evident. "It's fine. Just... don't touch my things."

"Of course," you said quickly. "I didn't mean to overstep."

He sighed again, running a hand through his hair. "It's fine," he repeated, though his tone suggested otherwise. "Just... please leave."

You paused for a moment, the curiosity gnawing at you. "What are you working on?" you asked, trying to sound casual and hoping to ease the tension.

Yoongi's eyes narrowed. "Why do you care?" he retorted, clearly annoyed.

"I'm just curious," you admitted. "It must be something important if you're this protective of it."

"It's personal," Yoongi said, his tone flat. "I don't like people prying into my business."

"I'm not trying to pry," you said, though you knew you were. "I just want to understand you better."

"There's nothing to understand," Yoongi said, his voice now edged with frustration. "Now, please, just do your job and leave."

"But sometimes talking about things can help," you persisted, hoping to break through his guarded exterior.

Yoongi's eyes flashed with irritation. "I don't need your help or your pity. Just leave me alone."

Feeling a mixture of frustration and regret, you nodded. "Alright, I get it. I didn't mean to intrude," you said softly.
