Months has passed and the wedding is in two weeks. Lisa and Jennie worked their butts off to satisfy the parents and the world with their hunger for The Manoban's publicity.
"Park, did you do what I asked you to do?" Lisa was sitting on her office chair having a private conversation with Rosé while Jennie was busy chatting with Jisoo, preparing everything for the wedding.
"Here" Rosé handed Lisa the folder that answers all her questions yet she felt hesitant to open it. "I'll open it after the wedding" a smile was drawn on Rosé's face "I still can't believe that you have put up with this grand wedding." Lisa rolled her eyes. She didn't want to make fuss about anything. Just finish the wedding and they're done. She can go back to her business and Jennie can continue her goal for her company.
"Don't make this a big deal" she simply said as she took the glass of bourbon and emptied it. "Lisa, you don't have to deny it, I can see it. Keeping it to yourself is just gonna make it worse. I am here if you're ready to open up about your feelings." Rosé stood up and was about to leave when Lisa shouted something.
"I don't have feelings Park!!" Her last words made Rosé laughed.
JENNIE
"I said stop freaking out!" Jisoo's loud voice is making me freak out even more. "I am not sure if I should be doing this" I said pacing back and forth inside my office.
"Jennie, hey! Little sister" she held me on my shoulders and looked at me in the eye.
"Do not freak out! I thought this was only for business? Why are you having wedding jitters? You didn't have them when you signed the papers. Jennie, you are already married, you live under the same roof, you are a Manoban. Why are you freaking out? This is just a public stunt" she's right. Public stunt. But I couldn't help but freak out.
It didn't really occur to me that I am married. Lisa and I didn't have that married relationship. We ignore, we roll eyes, and we scream at each other. So it never occur to me that I am married. Not until the day I was sick.
I woke up to the light of the sun hitting my face. I looked at the time but I seem to be held frozen. I saw an arm across my waist. I turned my back and I saw the most beautiful lady I have ever laid my eyes on.
I looked at her, I studied her face. I've never seen her face this close. Even with her eyes close I can see her doe eyes. She has long lashes, a long pointed nose and pinkish plump lips. Her lips looks so kissable. I couldn't help but gulp. I shouldn't be thinking about these things early in the morning, hell I shouldn't be thinking about anything related to this lady at all. Yet I failed.
I saw how her eyes slowly opened, I was expecting that she would move away, push me away or freak out but she didn't. She looked at me in the eyes and smiled. "Good morning, how's my wife?" I gulped at her question. I didn't know but my heart was racing. She placed her palm on my forehead. "Fever's gone, but you still need to rest." What's up with this lady? I was caught off guard with her next action. She kissed my forehead.
"Do you wanna take a shower? I can prepare a bath for you" I have never seen this side of her. I've never seen the soft side of Lalisa Manoban. "Shower sounds good" I said and smiled. She nodded and kissed my forehead once again before going into the bathroom.
"Jennie! Are you even paying attention? Why are smiling there like an idiot?" I snapped out from day dreaming when I heard the annoying voice of my sister. We got really close especially during the preparations, she helped me a lot. "Aren't you needed anywhere else? Like a meeting or something?" She chuckled and grabbed her purse. "See? You're not listening, I said I am leaving" she went out of my office laughing.
After a long day at work, I decided to grab some ice cream just to relieve the stress. I brought a tub of chocolate ice cream and threw myself on the couch with the television on. After a few minutes, I saw the the front door swung open. "You're early" She said as she took off her shoe and changed into slippers and gave her suit case to the maid. "I finished all the paper works early so I decided to go straight home" I said as I went back to eating my ice cream. "Did you ate dinner already?" She sat beside me and grabbed my ice cream and spoon and ate. "This is my dinner" I said grabbing it back. "This is why you get sick, you don't eat properly!" She grabbed the tub and walked towards the kitchen. "YAAAH!!" I screamed and followed her. When we reached the dining table, there was food served. She sat on her place, looking at me. "Dinner" she simply said.
By the looks of it, it was take outs. I didn't mind, we didn't have time to mind about dinner. We ate in silence until one has to go and wash up. While I on the other hand volunteered to clean up the table and just let the maids rest.
The next day.
Lisa and I went to the venue to check it one last time. The wedding is going to be at a huge garden. We rented the whole place for a week of the organisers to arrange everything.
Lisa was talking to the head organizer while I check the works of the people. I was looking at the flowers when I felt something on my foot. I looked down and saw a cute white puppy.
"Hello baby, where's your mommy?" i checked the collar ally cute name for a very cute dog. "You smell so good baby, I just want to keep you"
LISA
After talking to the head of the organizers, I look around to see what they have done so far, and I can really say that the progress was great.
I looked around when I found Jennie carrying a dog in her arm while baby talking it. I smiled looking at her laughing and giggling. Then sadness was drawn on her face when the dog jumped and went to the owner. I laughed looking at her face.
I saw her walking towards me with a frown. "He was so cute" she murmur like a child. I didn't say anything, instead I walked towards the car to let her know its time to go.
We drove back home. She said she has some errands to run so she needs her car. I on the other hand has a personal business to do.
