Clara's POV:

"What the fuck." Francesco growls.

We get out of the car swimming toward the top. They are shooting the god damn water. We swim under the bridge. Getting up and taking a deep breath. We are hiding by the truss.

"Why the fuck did you do that?" He whisper shouts.

"I was tired." I told him. By the way I still am.

"Good job. Really good job. Now we have to wait here till they leave." He says. I nod.

"You know that all you had to do was drive? Or at least shoot them. I was able to do it if you were cooperating." He says.

"They shot the wheel." I say.

"If you were a good driver you could've managed." He says.

"At least I know where are they from. We can destroy them when we get out of this situation." I say assuring him. He glares.

"Boss wants them." One yells.

"Y....." I was about to yell your boss can kiss my ass but Francesco puts a hand over my mouth.

"Shhh." He says glaring.

"Do you realize we can't do anything to them when we are here? They can haunt us down like a fucking fish." He whisper yells. I nod. He takes his hand off.

After ten minutes we start swimming toward the shore.

"Where are we?" I ask as he helps me out of the water. He shrugs. We start walking.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"I don't know. Probably somewhere we could call someone." He says shrugging.

"Don't you have your phone with you?" I ask.

"Oh why it didn't occur my mind. Of course I have it on me. I just wanted to walk around with you while we are soaking wet." He says sarcastically. I roll my eyes.

"Do you realize that we are in the jungle?" I ask looking around. How are we suppose to find something to call someone? The only way is to communicate with fire. Yup the smoke signal and all.

"Seriously? I thought we are back at my mansion." He says rolling his eyes. What's up with him? I will pay for the car if that's the problem.

"Do you know what jungle means? We have to walk till forever." I say.

"So? It's actually a good thing cause next time you will learn how to behave in this situations." He says.

It's raining. It's fucking raining. That's all we needed in this situation. It's so cold. I can feel myself shivering. Oh guess the smoke signal is gone for good.

Francesco sighs. He puts an arm around me pushing me to himself.

"We survived many fights but will die from coldness." I say.

"Thanks to you." He adds. Fuck this was the part he's supposed to say we will survive. I am sure I will catch cold. The rain falls harder on us.

"There is a cottage." Francesco says after fifteen minutes of walking. A cottage to others a castle to me.

He broke the door so we could enter.

"It's empty." He says after looking around.

The cottage is small. Very cozy I might add. There is just one bed, a twin one actually. There is a fireplace on the other side. A brown single seater sofa. A fridge which is empty and it isn't even working. A small brown drawer. Seems like no one's living here. There isn't a phone or something. No dry clothes. Seems like today is my day, isn't it?

"Look around for woods, we have to turn the fireplace on." He says I nod.
After finding woods he turned it on.

"Take your clothes off." He says. I glare at him.

"Seriously in this situation? You have no shame." I say pretending to be offended.

"Are you serious? Take it off and go under the blanket." He says while taking off his own clothes. He looks hot. Like really really hot. Now it's not the time Clara. Why not?

"I was just teasing you." I say as I take mine off. I wasn't teasing him I was serious. He scoffs.

There was just one blanket. We got under it sitting by the fireplace. He is so close to me and the fact that we are just in our under-wears isn't helping.

Did I mention I lost my phone, probably in the lake. I fucking lost it. And on top of that I forgot to take a back up from my what's app. So the history is gone for good. This is so frustrating.

"I am sleepy." I whisper.

"Oh come on. Stay awake till you are warm enough. You're freezing." He says touching my face. I am still shivering.

"Tell me something." I say.

"It takes everything in me to not fire you after tonight." He says. Seriously? Out of all the things he could say?

"Not that something else." I say.

"How did you get out of the police station?" He asks.

"I open the door. Take one step than another." I say sarcastically. He glares at me.

"My uncle was the chief. I was there all day long. I am hungry, starving actually." I add.

I hadn't had a proper meal for more than a day.

"And tired." I add.

"Tell me about your father." He says.

"Why?" I ask.

"I heard about his mafia but don't know what happened to it." He says.

I know he is trying to keep me distracted but I don't know if my father is a good topic or not.

"Will you tell me about yours?" I ask. He nods looking at the fire.

Is still raining. I guess we are stuck here.

"It's a long story are you sure you wanna hear it?" I ask.

"Believe me we have all night." He says.

"Well my father's story is actually more than that. It goes back to his childhood when he met my mom." I say looking at the fire. A story which damaged each of its characters.
