My name. My hometown. My country. Left there for people to see. People in the future. The future got me thinking of my past.

*Flashback*

My mother walked in crying. The tears killed me inside. The way they rolled down her cheek. I couldn't bear it. I ran over and hugged her.

"What's wrong Mom?" I asked.

"Alison, your sister died," she sobbed.

"What?" I asked, still in shock.

*Out Of Flashback*

"I'm gonna win. For Jess," I whispered.

"Okay Alison, this dress and we'll curl your hair. Oh! We have to dye it brown too!" Eleanor noted.

"Permanently?" I wondered.

"Ever notice how all the girls in the Husband Games usually are brunettes? Yeah, the sun turns it to blonde eventually on some girls," Eleanor pointed out.

Oh great, new hair colour. Can this get any better?

"And-" she started.

"Oh no! No more 'and's!" I screamed. "I'm done." I yelled, trying to jump out the window. I hit my head and I was pushed back. Smart people.

"Come on! Please?" Eleanor pleaded.

"Fine. Do whatever it takes." I said sternly.

*3 hours later*

"We're done! Ready to show Bonming exactly how you changed?" Eleanor squealed.

"Ok?" I said awkwardly.

We went down a lift to the ground floor and stepped out into Ramuff, the richest part of Bonming. Personally, I hated Ramuff. People were randomly killed on the street for others entertainment. I just didn't understand this place. Ramuff had a smell of many perfumes. And bodysprays. It was disgusting. I covered my nose. Eleanor and I ran over to the back of a building with shining lights and went to the back, where I would have my final preparations finished.

I got my make-up put on my a girl named Jennelsha. See? Even the names in this place are weird. I was then escorted to my front row seat to watch the show. I was picked out last, therefore, making me last. Eleanor whispered to me to get up, so I did. I hurried over to the seat, sat down, and looked towards Carl.

"Hi! I'm Carl! And you are...?"

"Alison! From Sellet!" I smiled, proud of my village.

"So Alison, what would be an average day for you?" Carl wondered.

"I would get up, eat if there was food, go to school, try to get some food after school, go home and go back to bed," I replied. "But, I rarely get to get food so I might have to win this," I added. The audience chuckled. What? This was true!

"Haha!" Carl laughed. Why are people laughing? They know Sellet is the poorest village in Bonming! "Do you think you'll win?"

I looked at Eleanor. She gave a small thumbs down. "Probably not. Hard to tell. But I might get a husband!" I babbled. What did I just say? Probably not but I might? I'm confused. I quickly glanced at the audience. Confused.

"Heh..." Carl nervously laughed. "What do you think the future holds?" he asked.

I looked at Eleanor again. She made a fake stab to her chest.

"Death." I said sternly.

Laughs filled the room. Eleanor put her thumbs up. The audience definetly liked it. And I definetly felt proud.
