05. "Demon" slayer

I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I currently have the dreaded writer's block. This story may or may not be shorter that the others. Enjoy!

3rd POV

"Moshi moshi!"

(Y/N)'s eyes widened the slightest at the delicate yet ominous presence behind him. Though he again became stoic.

"You're a strange looking fellow, aren't you?"

A soft voice spoke.

"Do you need anything?"

(Y/N) asked, a direct tone in his voice, not turning to look at the girl. He was on guard.

"Ah, yes. I was wondering...why a demon like yourself is wearing the corps. uniform?"

(Y/N) wasn't that surprised that she saw through his facade. He knew that he would be found out eventually. He was hoping to have run into a lower level slayer, so that he wouldn't be found out as quickly as he was.

"Let me ask you two, very important questions."

(Y/N) hummed, now facing the hashira. She was smiling but it was obviously fake.

"Why do you hold a sword and uniform?"

The insect breather asked, vemon seathing through her teeth. Though she remained with the same eery smile.

"I've become a demon slayer, to get revenge on the demon king"

(Y/N) blinked calmly, still feeling threatened by the butterfly hashira's demeanor.

"And my second question, how many people have you killed?"

(Y/N) breathed inwardly, nervous that she'd see through him and kill him.

"None. When I first became a demon I've always held hate for all demons and their lifestyle. The smell of human flesh alone makes me nauseous."

(Y/N) answered, making his voice sound full of sorrow and revulsion for demons.

"Hm...I see."

The lady paused, her tone changing to one of sorrow before changing back.

"I'll have to put you on trial then! To see what my fellow hashira think."
