The team celebrated their win for a bit and then left the Air Canada Centre a bit later to get back to their hotel. Their flight to their next game in Montréal against the Montréal Canadiens would be the next morning, so Brooke wished everyone a good night and then disappeared into her room. She changed into some comfortable sweats and a shirt and just waited on her bed for twenty minutes, zapping through the TV programs a bit, until there was a knock on her door. She opened it with a soft smile and let Sid come inside, and he ran his fingers through his hair, obviously having taken a shower before coming over. "So, what are we going to watch today?" he asked Brooke after they had gotten comfortable on her bed and Brooked shrugged. "What are you up to? I was thinking something funny maybe?" she asked and Sid nodded in agreement, trying to think of a movie. "How about love guru? That one with the hockey player," he stated and Brooke nodded with a grin before searching for the movie and renting it. Sid opened up some snacks he'd brought to her room and Brooke just leaned back and focused on the movie that had started. Sid and her watched it in comfortable silence, sometimes chuckling to themselves and when the movie ended one and a half hours later, both of them were in a good mood. "Oh god, I don't know what I would do if I saw two elephants doing it at one of our games," Sid started with a grin and Brooke just shook her head with a smile. "I don't think that's ever going to happen Sid," she then responded and Sid nodded with an amused smile. Brooke shut off the TV and turned onto her side to look at Sid. He was already looking at her, propped up on his elbow, and Brooke tilted her head slightly. "I just can't get you out of my mind, Brooke," Sid suddenly murmured and Brooke looked at him in shock, her mouth dropping open slightly. Sid just sighed and shook his head, letting himself fall back on Brooke's bed and looking at the ceiling. "What about our deal?" Brooke stated, leaning over Sid, her hair falling over her shoulder. "Ugh, forget that damn deal. I can't change what I feel, it's too late anyway," Sid groaned and Brooke smiled amusedly. "Well, if it helps, I'm feeling the same way you do," she told him. "But I'm not one to break my promises," she added and Sidney sat up as well, looking at Brooke who was biting her lip. "That's no problem, I'll be the one to break it," he murmured, leaning forward the last bit and connecting their lips in a soft kiss. Brooke returned the kiss and wrapped her arms around Sid's neck. Sid pressed her down a bit and leaned over her, breaking the kiss and leaning his forehead against Brooke's. "We can do this Brooke, we just need to give it a try and keep it to ourselves," he said softly and Brooke tilted her head. "You mean keep all of this a secret?" she asked and Sid nodded slightly. "Yeah. Only until the season ends though, whenever that may be. Are you in?" he asked and Brooke only pressed another kiss onto his lips instead of answering. "I think we have an agreement," she then stated and Sid laughed quietly and laid down next to Brooke again, wrapping his arms around her. Brooke cuddled onto him and closed her eyes with a soft smile, placing her head on Sid's chest. They talked for a bit until Brooke just didn't respond anymore and when Sid poked her softly, there was no reaction, so he figured she was asleep. He carefully pulled the covers over them and closed his eyes as well, falling asleep soon after.

"When did you come back to the room, Sid?" his roommate Dupuis asked Sid the next day at breakfast and Sid just shrugged. "Pretty late. You were sleeping already," he stated, even though he'd snuck into the room half an hour before they had to get up again after spending the night in Brooke's room, but Dupuis thankfully hadn't noticed anything. He looked up from his bread and smiled at Brooke, who was sitting next to Fleury on the other side of the table, enjoying her breakfast as well. After breakfast, they left for the airport and back in the plane, Sid took a seat next to Fleury, as he always did, and turned around to Brooke, who had taken the seat across the aisle. "Time for a bit of shooting," he stated with a grin and Brooke nodded with a laugh and pulled out her game boy. "You're on Crosby," she responded with a grin and they invited a few of the other guys and then started the game. As usual, Brooke was doing pretty well, and the curses could be heard from everywhere in the plane, making Brooke grin happily whenever she took someone out and heard them curse afterwards. Eventually, Fleury killed Brooke and she threw a balled up piece of paper at him before leaning back and looking at Kris, who was once again sitting next to her.

They arrived in Montréal soon after, and everyone left the plane, talking to each other. The game would be on the next day, so they had a bit of time to themselves, and Brooke was already thinking about what she could do. "What are you guys doing afterwards?" she eventually asked and the guys told her what they had planned. "I flew my parents in," Sid spoke up when she looked at him and she smiled softly. "That reminds me that I need to call dad," she then remembered and Sid just laughed quietly and shook his head. At the hotel, everyone checked in and Beau offered Brooke to spend the afternoon with her if she wanted, and she looked at Sid, who was standing next to Dupuis with their roomcards and bit her lip. If his parents were there, he surely wouldn't have time for her, so she looked back at Beau and nodded with a smile. "Yeah, maybe. I'll get back to you on that offer. Thanks Beau," she said and Beau just smiled at her and nodded. Brooke got her roomcard a bit later and went to her room, humming quietly to herself. After she'd put her stuff down, she took out her phone and called her dad before doing anything else. "Hello stranger, I was already waiting for you to call," her father greeted her and Brooke could hear the smile in his voice. "I'm sorry dad. I totally forgot it yesterday. How's everything going at home?" Brooke asked. Her father and her talked for twenty minutes and then Brooke ended the call and went to take a shower. There was a knock on her door right when she'd finished washing her hair, and she cursed and stepped out of the shower. "I'm coming!" she yelled, wrapping the towel around her body and drying herself as fast as she could before walking over to the door quickly. Sid was leaning against the doorframe when she opened it, and a grin spread on his face when he saw her. "Sorry, I didn't want to interrupt your shower. My parents just arrived and I was wondering if you wanted to spend the afternoon with us. We're going to walk around a bit and later eat something," he asked her and Brooke tilted her head and bit her lip slightly. "Won't they mind though? I mean, I'm just a friend, as far as they know," she responded and Sid shook his head and smiled at her. "No, mom actually wanted me to invite you. She's pretty impressed that you stand your ground in a team full of 'bad mannered hockey players', as she likes to put it," he said with a grin and Brooke just laughed and shook her head. "All right, you convinced me. I'll just put some clothes on and then I'm ready to go," she said and Sid nodded. "We'll wait for you in the lobby then," he said before leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss onto her lips after making sure no one was there to see it.
