"Brookie. Babe, wake up, we're going to land soon." Sid's voice brought Brooke out of her dreams, and she slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times. Sid was still sitting next to her and they were in the plane, and a soft smile spread out on his face when Brooke yawned and stretched. "We need to put up our chairs again," Sid told her afterwards and Brooke nodded and did as he had told before running her fingers through her hair shortly. They landed safely about half an hour later, and Sid and Brooke both got up when the plane had come to a stop. They left the plane and Brooke looked around in awe, following Sid. It was a tiny little airport and the baggage claim was only a few steps away, so they went to get their suitcases and then left for the hotel with one of the cabs that were standing around, waiting for tourists. While they drove to the hotel, Brooke was looking out of the window, awed at the beautiful scenery of Bora Bora. As it was a pretty small island, they arrived pretty soon after, and Brooke got out of the cab and started pulling out their suitcases. Sid came to her help after paying for the drive and then they entered the reception. Sid had booked a bungalow by the ocean for them, and the lady at the reception greeted them with a friendly smile and let them fill out the forms. When everything was cleared up, she gave them the keys and Brooke thanked her with a smile before taking the keys and following Sid, who was carrying both of their suitcases. They walked towards the bungalows on a wodden bridge, and Brooke looked around with wide eyes. Eventually, they had found their bungalow, and Brooke stepped forward to open the door, and when she stepped inside, she felt like she was in paradise. "Wow. It's so beautiful," she mumbled more to herself and Sid laughed quietly and put down their stuff before wrapping his arms around Brooke from behind. "Let's go change into our bath stuff and then we can go and relax a bit, eh?" he suggested and Brooke nodded with a smile and turned towards her suitcase to get out her bikini. Sid had already changed into his trunks by the time Brooke had found her bikini, and he stepped out to their little balcony, where the lounge chairs were. She put on one of her favourite bikinis, a white one with black linings, from triangl, and then opened her ponytail.

Afterwards, she walked out to where Sid already was, and when he turned towards her, his mouth opened slightly. "Don't act like you've never seen me like this, Crosby. You've already seen me naked," Brooke said with an amused grin, getting down next to him and putting on her sunglasses. "I know, but I just always wonder how a guy like me got a girl like you," he stated and Brooke turned on her side to look at him. "What do you mean by a guy like you? I was honestly surprised you were single when we met. You're extremely handsome, and you've got an even better character," Brooke stated and Sid hummed quietly and also turned to look at her. "I don't know about that. It isn't a secret that I'm quite awkward," he said and Brooke snorted and shook her head. "So what? I love every single thing about you, I don't care if you think it's awkward or not, you're perfect just the way you are," she said and Sid got up and leaned over her, pressing his lips to hers in a soft kiss. Brooke just grinned and pulled him closer to her, and eventually it ended up with him kneeling between her legs, his hands on either side of her head. "I really love you, Brookie," Sid mumbled between kisses and Brooke felt like her heart was close to bursting with how happy she was. "I love you too, Sid," she stated with a loving smile, and Sid pressed one last kiss to her lips before getting up and taking off his sunglasses. "I'd say it's time for a swim, eh?" he asked and when Brooke nodded, he bent down and threw her over his shoulder. Brooke shouted and then just held onto him, and he carefully dumped her in the quite warm water. Brooke laughed when she resurfaced and Sid jumped in next to her, so she just sprayed water towards him with her hands and then swam around a bit, enjoying the water. Sid had swam after her and placed his arms around her now, and Brooke grinned at him and then pushed him underwater, and Sid shook the water out of his hair when he came up again, looking at Brooke with a mischievous grin, and when Brooke realized what he was about to do, it was already to late to try and get away, and Sid successfully pushed her underwater. It soon turned into a full on water fight that lasted about ten minutes, and eventually surrendered and climbed up to their balcony again, and Sid stayed in the water a bit longer. Brooke went over to the big lounge and got comfortable there after getting her book from the bungalow. She'd read a few pages when Sid joined her, still dripping wet, and he just got down behind her and placed an arm around her waist. "I could get used to this," he mumbled after a while of comfortable silence and Brooke looked at him over her shoulder. "You'd miss hockey too much though. But as for the rest? I totally agree with you," she stated and Sid chuckled quietly. "Yeah, you're right. But I'll try not to think about hockey too much while we're here and just enjoy it," he said and Brooke turned around to look at him. "I don't mind if you think about hockey. It's a big part of your life - and of mine too," she told him and a smile spread out on Sid's face before he leaned forward a bit and kissed Brooke.

They spent the rest of the day just relaxing and going into the water from time to time to cool down, and Brooke snapped a picture of them and sent it to the other guys and their parents, telling them that they'd arrived without any problems. In the evening, Brooke put on a light dress and followed Sid, who was wearing a shirt and shorts, towards the reception building, where the restaurant was as well. Brooke chose some exotic menu and Sid stuck to what he already knew, and during dinner they discussed all the things they could do during the two weeks they would be spending there.

Over the next two weeks, they just relaxed and enjoyed the warmth and the sun of Bora Bora. Brooke hadn't expected to fall in love with Sid even more, but somehow, when they were on the flight back home to Pittsburgh two weeks later, she couldn't help but feel like they had gotten even closer, and it somehow almost felt like they had been together for way longer than they actually were, and when she told Sid, he just nodded with a soft smile and pulled her closer to him, placing an arm around her. Brooke's father picked them up at the airport, and he just greeted both of them before tilting his head. "You two look very good, and still very much in love," he stated and Brooke just laughed and leaned onto Sid, who placed an arm around her and nodded with a smile. "You're not getting rid of me that easily, Lemieux," he stated with an easy grin and Brooke just grinned slightly. It was really great that Sid and her father got on so well, not only because they had played together for a season before her father had retired, and it made her relationship with Sid a bit easier with the knowledge that her father liked him.
