upon seeing her best friend,
y/n checked her watch and
her eyes widened.

"oh, it's already seven?"

"geez, my shift went by fast
today."

"hey, idiot."

y/n shot her best friend a goofy
grin, earning a couple of good
smacks back from her. aimi's
lips quirked up and her eyebrows
raised in a suggestive look.

matsuzaki aimi
"hey, stupid bitch."

aimi's eyes widened and she looked
at akaashi, slapping her hand over
her mouth as y/n stifled a laugh.

matsuzaki aimi
"oh, shit- shoot—excuse my
language."

akaashi chuckled, and y/n burst
out laughing.

akaashi keiji
"it doesn't bother me at all."

akaashi keiji
"bokuto swears like a sailor,
even in front of koji."

y/n continued to laugh, and
aimi let out a relieved breath.

matsuzaki aimi
"oh thank god."

matsuzaki aimi
"i mean, y/n and i don't
swear around kids but
around each other we
literally have the foulest
mouths ever."

y/n's eyes widened and she
punched aimi in the arm.

"no i don't!"

matsuzaki aimi
"oh really? want me to pull
up our texts?"

y/n's mouth dropped open
while aimi's facial expression
turned smug.

matsuzaki aimi
"yep, thought so. if mr. hot guy
wasn't here, you'd be cursing
me out right now,"

aimi loudly whispered to y/n,
and made a point to speak loud
enough for akaashi to hear,
which he definitely did.

y/n's face turned bright red
in embarrassment as she
buried her face in her hands
briefly. she looked back up
and glared at aimi, sighing
in frustration.

"ugh, just go clock in, dumbass."

aimi laughed.

matsuzaki aimi
"there it is."

and with that, she turned back
on her heel and entered the office.

y/n turned to akaashi, her face
still a light pink.

"i, uh... sorry, she has no filter
sometimes."

y/n awkwardly scratched the back
of her neck, twisting a piece of
hair in her fingers.

akaashi keiji
"she reminds me a lot of bokuto."
