aimi crossed her arms,
narrowing her eyes as
y/n watched akaashi
say his goodbyes to his
friends.

"i swear if you come home
tonight and that man isn't
your official boyfriend i'm
kicking you out."

"wha— aimi!"

"i'll do it, chill!"

aimi gave y/n a skeptical
look, earning a punch in
the arm from y/n.

matsuzaki aimi
"okay, but in all seriousness."

matsuzaki aimi
"you've got this."

aimi sent y/n a smile, jumping
at the sudden hands around her
waist. bokuto stood behind her,
resting his chin on top of aimi's
head as he wrapped his arms
around her.

bokuto koutarou
"what does she got?"

aimi laughed, rolling her eyes.

matsuzaki aimi
"ah, nothing."

matsuzaki aimi
"we'll see."

bokuto cocked an eyebrow,
a confused look on his face.

bokuto koutarou
"umm, alright."

bokuto koutarou
"anyways, want to go hijack
the akaashi house and play
mario kart?"

y/n rolled her eyes at the
sickeningly sweet couple
who also had yet to label
things, turning away and
immediately being greeted
by akaashi.

akaashi keiji
"hey."

he smiled, reaching for y/n's
hands and intertwining their
fingers. y/n smiled back.

"hi."

akaashi keiji
"thanks for doing this for me.
i had an amazing time."

y/n blushed, nodding her head.

"i'm glad. i could tell you really
missed being able to hang out
with all your friends at the same
time."

akaashi keiji
"i really did."

akaashi keiji
"but now i want to be with
you."

"so... coffee? it's cold out."

akaashi smiled.

akaashi keiji
"sure."

the pair left the restaurant,
walking hand in hand to the
coffee shop where they had
carried out their master plan
to get bokuto and aimi
together.

as soon as it came into view,
akaashi and y/n erupted into
laughter, remembering the
plan that kind of worked too
well.

y/n couldn't help but smile,
as in the end, it was that
stupid plan that led to her
and akaashi confessing their
feelings for each other.
