Surprisingly, it wasn't actually my alarm that woke me this morning but just myself naturally awaking. And for it being 6:30am, I was feeling quite energised and awake so I decided to head out for a quick run.
My pyjamas were replaced with a bright pink sports bra, my grey running leggings, and my pink nike's to match. After throwing my hair up into some sort of bun (mess) on top of my head, I head out, plugging in my headphones and beginning to run. The sun was just rising so the sky was a mixture of orange and red shades, which, along with tranquil atmosphere was perfect. As weird as it sounds, I'm not a runner under pressure, cough gym class cough, but when it's just me and I can be free to run, I'm a runner alright. It's just so refreshing and clears your mind from everything, I used to do it a lot back in Cheshire.
The unknown to where I am right now also adds to the thrill of running,I tried to just stay in path so I could route back home but I must have swayed off that path a long time ago.
'Lost again?' A raspy voice teases.
Pulling out my headphones, I look beside me to find a sweaty Grayson.
'I prefer the term, heading for the unknown' I shrug.
Keeping by my pace, he just rolls his eyes, 'sarcasm won't help you home'
Gosh what is it with those two and there thing against sarcasm? It was basically my language.
'Take a left here, follow the road round and you'll be by school, and then just follow your normal route home' he directs pointing with his fingers so I can follow.
'Thanks, are you not coming?' I ask confused.
'I wanna run a bit further first, I'll see you in school'
Before taking my left I wave good bye
'Oh btw, gym clothes' he smirks whilst making 👌sign with his hands.
I just stick my tongue out in response. That boy has way too much testosterone for his own good.

When I return home it's just after 7am so I take a shower and begin getting ready. From the temperatures already being quite high, I decide on a red romper with my trusty white converse. One thing I love here is that, 'autumn', doesn't mean anything. The weather is still better than our summer's back in the UK. With the God's clearly being on my side this morning, after taking my hair from it's bun, there is no frizz and my curls fall happily. I pin my front section away from my face and start with my make up.
With a pop of my now tinted red lips, my complexion is looking a lot better, although I'm not one for lots of make up, I still liked a bit just to 'enhance my natural beauty' as my aunt would say.
When I head downstairs I notice there is a note left on the table along with a bowl of cereal and a tropical smoothie.
'Sorry Sweetheart,
Had to work early. You were in the shower so I couldn't say bye. I'll defiantly be home this evening and we can spend it together, no work.
Love pops x'I let out a sigh, tonight's better than nothing though I suppose. Then again, it was probably a good thing he was working last night. I take a spoonful of my cereal. Isaac. I'm kinda nervous to face him, I'm not sure how this will play out. It's not like after a party where everyone just blames the multiple drunks for the actions they played the night before. We were both very much sober and that scares me a little more. However, here in California, I am Aria, the ever so slightly clumsy, but confident, West - I can do this.
After my little pep talk, I finish up my cereal and start sipping my smoothie. Damn, this was heaven, I wonder what pops put in this to make it taste so good. And yes, I do have a thing for smoothies, it started when my mum used to make me take them to dance class, so I got my energy and nutrition, but now I just drink them religiously.
