Not so graceful after all

Chapter 9

Wow Im really really sorry for the wait,I've had a really bad case of writers block :/
Hopefully this chapter will make up for it

Dean PoV

'Thank god it's Friday' Dean though to himself as he took a seat in his first period class which was English. The class itself was one of Deans favourite classes but what made it even better was that Castiel sat right next to him.
Speaking of Castiel, him and Gabriel were late. Again.

Mr Crowley started the class and as he was calling out there names from the register, the door swung open and in came the Novak brothers looking smug as usual. Dean smiled as he made eye contact with Cas who grinned back while Mr Crowley just rolled his eyes

"Hello boys. How nice of you to finally join us. Take a seat and shut up." Mr Crowley replied ticking both there names of on the register. The Novaks both took there seats while the lesson continued.

"Hey there Winchester. You still coming tonight? Charlie keeps asking" Cas asked Dean quietly

"Yeah she's already asked me like 5 times since this morning. And i keep telling her that yes, i am" Dean replied. Gabriel leaned back on his chair towards the pair

"You are what? Hopelessly in love with each other? Because i already knew that" Gabe cut in, smirking at them both. Cas rolled his eyes and kicked one of the legs of Gabriels chair, causing it and Gabe to crash to the floor. The whole class turned to Dean and Cas, who were in stitches.

"Gabriel! Get up off the floor. How many time do i have to tell you to not swing on your chair!
And you two," Mr Crowley pointed at Dean and Castiel who were trying -and failing miserably - not to laugh "go stand outside until you've calmed down. Honestly its like talking to a bunch of 5 year olds with you lot."

Dean and Cas stood up and walked outside, still giggling. Mr Crowley started muttering about who knows what while Gabriel picked up his chair and sat back down blushing deeply. After the class had started working, Mr Crowley went outside to speak to Dean and Cas about there behavior and sent them back in. They both giggled a little when they looked at Gabriel who was still a bit red.

The remainder of the day wasn't as eventful and by the end of it, Dean couldn't wait until 7pm came around

Charlie PoV

"Ok is everyone in position? Over" Charlie said into her walkie talkie.

" Masters in position. Over" Megs voice came through followed by Benny saying "Is there really a need for the walkie talkies?"

There was a moments silence before Charlie responded with "Oh Im sorry. Did you finnish speaking cause i never heard you say over. Over"

Benny groaned "Fine. Is there really a need for the walkie talkies.... Over"

"Yes there is. Now are you in position or not? Over" Charlie asked peaking around the bush outside of Ellans diner.

Another groan from Benny "Yes,Kinnon in position"

"Over" Benny said after a moment.

"Good. Right it is now.... 1900 hours and I can hear Deans Impala approaching but there's no sign of Novak. You guys got anything? Over"

"Nada over"Benny replied

"Good job Benny oh! I have eyes on Novak. He's just crossing the road. Over" Meg replied quietly as Dean got out his car and started walking towards Ellans.

"Okay guys. Send those texts in exactly 1 minute.Meg get back i can see you. Over" Charlie says

"Hey! Winchester wait up!" Castiel shouted, jogging towards Dean.

"Your not exactly invisible yourself! Over" Meg replied

"Hey Cas, We're the first ones here from the looks at things." Dean said smiling at Cas

" Girls enough! You'll get us caught." Benny whispered

"You never said over,Over" Charlie replied

"Over!" Benny said a bit to loud using Cas to look in his direction. Luckily, Benny was hiding behind the bins and out of Castiel's line of sight.

"Did you hear something?" Cas asked Dean. Dean shook his head.

"Come on, lets just wait inside. Its cold outside" Dean pushed open the door and walked inside.Cas followed him singing "Baby its cold outside".

Castiel PoV

"Hey Ellen!" Dean said to the woman behind the counter. The diner was small and cozy  and reminded Cas of a 50s diner.

Ellen smiled at the pair. "Dean! Haven't saw you around here for a while, how have you been? How's your family?"She asked while coming around the counter to hug Dean.

"Good. We're good. Oh! Sammy got bumped up a year so he's now a junior. He's such a dork but Im proud of him" Dean beamed at the woman and she smiled back at him

"That's great. So what can I do for you boys?" Ellen asked

"Um Charlie called about a table?"

"oh! Yes,right this way" Ellen directed the pair to a booth in the corner of the diner. She got them drinks and the boys thanked her before she went back behind the counter.

"So when are they getting here?"Castiel asked Dean, who was frowning at his phone

"Yeah... About that. There not. They all bailed on us" Dean scoffed and shook his head. Castiel frowned

"So what do we do now?" Dean asked looking at Cas who shrugged

"Well we're already here so why dont we just hang out?" Cas replied, leaning back against the seat

"Um yeah. Yeah sure okay" Dean nodded and Cas grinned

"Okay then"
