Not so graceful after all

Chapter 10

"So, Dean. Tell me about yourself." Castiel says, sipping his milkshake

"There's not much to tell. I was born here in Kansas, lived here my entire life. I live with both my parents and have a younger brother, Sammy. Umm I love music and I spend most of my free time on Tumblr. That's about it." Dean shrugged his shoulders.

Castiel leaned forward and rested his head on his hand and raised his eyebrows. Dean gave a little laugh. "What?" He asked

"I was expecting a whole ten minute speech about your family and your hobbies but instead I got like four sentences" Cas said and Dean just rolled his eyes

"Well you dont want to reveal to much on the first date incase you scare them away" Dean smiled before get realised what he had just said

"So this is a date huh?" Castiel smirked, sipping his drink. He laughed as Dean blushed bright red and fumbled with his words

"N-n-no no not all. I mean unless you want i-it to be then I guess b-but oh god" Dean pressed his forehead to the table while Cas just laughed. After a moment, Castiel placed his hand on Deans hand.

"Hey, relax. It's a pretty good first date"
Dean looked at Castiel in disbelieve but he just smiled softly and linked there fingers before continuing to eat his fries

"So uh tell me about yourself" Dean asked, smiling down at there linked hands

"hmm well, I was born in Baltimore, Maryland where I spent most of my life with my 7 siblings and my parents. Um I too love music and play the bass guitar. I am a major gaming nerd like my collection is HUGE as well as my Disney collection. Don't judge me, Disney is great" Cas defended as Dean started laughing
"You have a Disney collection?"

"Uh yeah don't you? Anyway I have a younger brother who is 5 okay, its not like I sit by myself and marathon them with a tub of Ben and Jerry while crying everytime Muffasa dies or when Bambi is looking for his mom or when baby mine starts playing - oh who am I kidding I did that last week."
Dean just laughed at him once more before Cas kicked him
"Ow! What was that for?!" Dean cried out, rubbing his shin
"Don't laugh at my pain Winchester! Disney is very heart breaking." Cas said, clutching his chest.

"I don't really get emotional at Disney." was all Dean said. Castiel just stared at him blankly "oh you cold hearted bastard. Are you even capable of love? What on earth an i getting myself into! Its Disney Dean." Castiel declared dramatcly

Dean just rolled his eyes "Yeah,yeah.Now shut up and eat you're fries before they get cold."

"Yes mom, geez"Cas said and finished his meal. Dean smiled fondly when Castiel started stroking his thumb but said nothing

They both finished there food and drink. After 5 minutes of arguing and Castiel threatening to cut his balls off (He is a very violent person), Dean reluctantly let Cas pay for the meals. The smile he got once he agreed was worth it though.

The walked out of the diner to Deans car, still hand in hand.
"So, where about do you live?"Dean asked as he approached his baby.

"Um Greenhill street? Do you know where that is?" Cas asked

"Yeah I live there. Come on I'll give you a lift." Dean said while getting out his keys. He finally let go of Cas' hand to open the passenger door for him.

"Such a gentleman. I like it." Cas smirked and got in. Dean just smiled and walked around the car to get in. He reversed out of the lot and headed for home.

There was a comfortable silence between the two teens while music flowed quietly from the stereo. Cas took Deans hand in his and held it the whole drive.

Once the pair entered the street, Cas pointed out his house which, coincidently, was only a few houses away from Deans. Dean parked his car in his driveway and walked Castiel to his house

"I really enjoyed myself tonight Dean. Even though we got stood up by our so called friends." Cas laughed as did Dean.

"Yeah but I'm glad they did. I really liked spending time with you without Charlie bugging me with her crush on Meg." Dean said and they both smiled

"We should definitely do this again. Goodnight Dean."

"Yes we definitely should. Goodnight Cas."
Castiel kissed his cheek and then disappeared inside. Dean grinned and walked back home. Once he closed the door behind him he leaned against it with his eyes closed and sighed happily. When he opened his eyes, he found his mother and father staring at him smiling

"Um....hi " Dean said and shifted uncomfortably. His mother started grinning at him

"So how did it gooo? I'm guessing good if you got a kiss from him. You have to tell me everything " Mary

"How did you know about that? You were watching from the window weren't you?" Dean asked, rolling his eyes when his mother nodded
"I'm going to bed." Dean shook his head in disbelief at his parents. Honestly doesn't his mom know what privacy is?

Both Castiel and Dean fell asleep with smiled on there faces
