Hope is sick and Lizzie takes care of her.
When Hope woke up this morning, she rushed over to the toilet because she felt like she was about to throw up.
When she was ready, she flushed the toilet and crawled back into bed. She felt her head and stomach hurt, so she decided to not go to class today.
She thought about calling Lizzie, but didn't want her girlfriend to worry about her. So she just went back to sleep.
When Lizzie walked into the dining hall for breakfast, she looked around for her girlfriend, but couldn't find her.
She walked over to the table, were her friends sat.
"Hey, have you seen Hope?", she asked and everyone shook their heads.
"No, we haven't seen her, maybe she didn't hear her alarm or something.", Josie said.
Lizzie nodded at her and walked out of the cafeteria to check on her girlfriend.
She knocked at Hope's door and when got no answer, she slowly opened the door, just to find Hope still in bed.
She walked over to her and kissed her forehead, feeling that it was really warm.
Hope stirred and slowly opened her eyes.
"Hey.", she whispered groggily.
"Hey, are you sick?", Lizzie asked concerned.
"Yeah. A little bit.", Hope said.
"Do you want me to get you anything?", Lizzie asked, sitting next to Hope on the bed.
"No. I'm fine. I'll just skip school today.", Hope said, squeezing Lizzie's hand reassuringly.
"I'll stay with you. And before you say anything, I'm not gonna change my mind.", Lizzie told her and looked at Hope with a stern look in her eyes.
Hope rolled her eyes, but nodded.
"I'm gonna make you something to eat. I'll be right back.", Lizzie said, standing up from the bed and making her way to the kitchen.
When she was in the kitchen, she saw Penelope, who became one of her best friends over the years.
"Hey Lizzie, why aren't you in class?", Penelope asked.
"Hi, I could ask you the same thing.", Lizzie smirked.
"I have the first period off. What's your excuse?", Penelope asked, sitting down on a bar stool in the kitchen.
"My girlfriend is sick and I'm not leaving her alone, untill she feels better.", Lizzie explained. She grabbed a cup and poured some hot water in it, to make tea.
"That's sweet.", Penelope said.
"Hm...", Lizzie mumbled, concentrating on making a soup. Hope hates soup, but Lizzie knows, that she'll feel better after this.
"Where is that special weed, you know the one that can heal a fever?", Lizzie asked, looking at Penelope, who handed her a small box.
"Here it is.", she said smiling.
"Thank you.", Lizzie said, putting some of the weed in the soup, before taking it off the stove. She filled it into a bowl and checked the temperature.
"See you.", Lizzie said to Penelope, walking out of the kitchen.
She walked back to Hope's room, sitting the soup and tea next to her on the bedside table.
"I made you some tea and soup.", Lizzie said.
"I hate soup.", Hope whined.
"I know, but it will make you feel better.", Lizzie smiled and helped Hope to sit up in bed, handing her the cup.
Hope drank the tea and handed itback to Lizzie, who gave her the bowl with soup.
Hope ate the soup, even if she didn't like it and handed the bowl back to Lizzie.
"Ugh I hate being sick.", Hope mumbled, a cute pout on her lips.
"I know baby, but everyone gets sick sometimes.", Lizzie said smiling.
Hope just nodded her head, laying down in bed again.
"Can we cuddle?", she asked.
"Yeah.", Lizzie said, laying down next to Hope, who put her head on her chest, while the blonde wrapped her arms around her girlfriend.
"Lizzie?"
"Mh?"
"I love you."
"I love you too, babygirl.", Lizzie said softly and Hope smiled at the nickname. It was right, she was Lizzie's babygirl, but she wouldn't admit that.
Hope cuddled closer to Lizzie, closing her eyes amd drifting off into peacefull sleep.
When she woke up, she felt better and after two more days, she was healthy again, which Lizzie enjoyed, because as much as she loves taking care of her girl, she loved the healthy Hope even more.
