Peter's P.O.V
Peter walked into the airplane hangar that he'd tracked The Vulture too, the silence around him deafening as he walked. He looked around, his jaw clenching underneath his mask as his Spidey senses went crazy. He just couldn't tell what they were sensing.
"When will you learn to stop coming after me?" He whipped around, his eyebrows furrowing as he heard a bellowing voice behind him, but no one was there.
"If you think for one second that I'll stop before you're back rotting in your prison cell, think again." He spat.
"I think that you'll be dead before you get the chance to put me back there." Peter cried out and fell to his knees as something sliced through his waist.
"What the fuck?" He gulped as he looked up. His eyes widened as he saw the culprit, the drone that was a smaller version of The Vulture's wings racing back towards him.
"Fuck no." He spat as he shot to his feet before extending his wrist. He fired a web at the small drone and pulled it down before stamping on it. He looked up again.
"I'm not a fifteen-year-old kid anymore, asshole. It'll take a lot more than just your sharp wings to kill me." He spat.
"That's why I brought more toys than just that, Pete." The Vulture's voice rang out mockingly again, making Peter's eyes widen as a dozen more drones flew towards him from the doors of the hangar.
"Oh, brilliant." He mumbled before bracing himself. He broke into a sprint before flipping over the first one, his hands grabbing it as he flew over it. He slammed it down onto the ground before extending both arms and firing webs out of both wrists. They attached to two drones, making Peter yell out as he smashed them together. Suddenly, Peter heard something else. He turned around, his eyes widening as The Vulture soared towards him.
"Oh, fuck-." The villain's feet collided with Peter's chest, making him yell out as he was thrown backwards. He landed harshly on the concrete, a groan leaving his lips as he coughed and cradled his stomach with his arm. He tried to get up but immediately The Vulture's foot was on his chest, making him choke as it was restricting his breathing.
"This is the problem with kids nowadays. You all think that you can save the world, that you can do some good. It's not your fault of course, you're all raised to believe that you can make a difference and that you can be good in a world that's truly fucked up. But it's not true. The world eats you up and spits you out like it does with everyone else. The problem with you is that you can't handle that. You can't handle the rejection and the realisation that you aren't good people, that the world isn't a good place. That's just too much for your precious little hearts to take." He chuckled and shook his head. Peter clenched his jaw, his teeth gritted together as he desperately tried to find the strength to fight back.
"Getting you here, finally putting you away again, that's not about making the world a better place. Making sure that you see justice is how I avenge MJ and how I avenge you trying to kill my girlfriend several times. Because you're right, I don't think that I can change the world. But I sure as hell am going to make the world slightly less shitty by making sure that I fuck you up." He spat before throwing The Vulture's foot off of his chest. The villain stumbled back, his eyes widening as that gave Peter the chance to jump back up.
"Karen, web bomb!" He yelled as he fired at The Vulture. It exploded, making him groan again as it coated his wings in the webs, as well as his arms to keep him restrained.
