Ahkeel and I went home after going to the park. He fell asleep on the way so I carried him up to his room. I tucked him in his bed, watching how he snuggled with his teddy bear. A smile was formed on my lips as I leaned in t o land a peck on his forehead. 

Y/N: "Sleep well, baby."

I got up and walked out, taking one more glance at his sleeping figure. I went downstairs into the living room and dropped my body on the couch, staring into nothingness.

Y/N: "I wonder if that girl is gonna be at Ahkeel's Kindergarten class?"
-I asked myself quietly.

Y/N: "He's so open up when meeting new people, he's pretty popular there.. He's just like him.."
-I sighed and closed my eyes.

Just then my phone rang, dragging me out of my mini conversation I had with myself. I reached my hand in my pocket and took it out. Jennie... I answered it.

💞Jennie~

Y/N:
Hi Jennie! How's work coming along?

Jennie:
I'm literally exhausted. I can't do all these paper work on my own, I want you here with me."
-she replied sympathetically.

Y/N: 
Miss me already? I though you never wanted my help.
-I mocked.

Jennie: 
Stop it, okay? You win! Just get your ass at work tomorrow.

Y/N: 
Okay, I'll be there first thing in the morning, then you can land everything on my desk.
-I said jokingly.

Jennie: 
No problem! Oh, I also have something for Ahkeel, so make sure he get it."

Y/N: 
Sure. Bye now!
-I said, hanging up.

I looked at the time and realized that it was getting late. 

Y/N: "I need to get dinner ready, I wouldn't want Ahkeel to wake up and see an empty table."
-I rushed to the kitchen.

~kobe's pov

I brought Kayla home, she couldn't stop talking about the friend she met earlier at the park.

Kayla: "I wanna see him again! We have so much in common!"
-she said while giggling.

Kobe: "Hm.. You seem to like this boy more than me, Kayla. I'm jealous."
-I crouched down to her level.

Kayla: "Don't worry, you'll always be my favorite daddy!"
-she smiled, squishing both my cheeks.

Kobe: "So does that mean Derek is out of the picture?"

Kayla: "Yes, but that'll be our secret!"
-she placed her finger on my lips.

I smiled and so did she. Just then a knock was heard on the front door, I straightened my posture and walked to it, opening it.

Derek: "Move! I'm here for my baby!"
-he walked passed me and head to Kayla with open arms.

Kayla: "Papa!"
-she ran towards him.

Derek lifted her up and spun around, filling the atmosphere with giggles and laughter. I watched them sadly, feeling sorry for myself..

Derek: "Thanks for watching her for me, Kobe. You're a great friend!"
-he said, taking Kayla's bag while he holds her in his other arm.
