At a hotel where Y/N's father was staying, he waited painterly for someone to arrive. He looked around the room, holding a brown envelope in his grasp. His attention then turned to it. He looked at it with pure pity, he sighed and put it down beside him.

*knock knock*

Y/N's Father: "Come in"
-he said, standing up.

The person came in wearing a dark purple gown and a hat. She closed the door behind her before facing front to him. 

??: "I hope you have everything in order, Mr. Y/D/N."
-she said, taking a seat.

Y/N's Father: "Yeah, it's right here."
-he said, taking the envelope and giving it to her.

She took it and opened it, reading the paper that was inside, later on laughing.

Y/N's Father: "Why are you laughing? The truth is right in front of you, and you're laughing?"

??: "I'm laughing at the fact at how stupid my son was to impregnate such a person."

Y/N's Father: "Well I guess he got it from your husband, who impregnate stupid women."
-he snapped back.

She didn't say another word, she got up and put the envelope into her bag. 

Kobe's Mother: "The meeting is over. I've already got what I came for. Have a good evening, sir."
-she bowed to him before leaving.

Silence then took over the room.. Y/N's father took up his things and left a few minutes after she left. 

~at derek's home

Kobe and Derek just got home from picking up Kayla from the hospital.

Derek: "Kobe, thanks for everything, man. I don't know how I could ever manage without you."
-he said, holding a sleeping Kayla in his arms.

Kobe: "No problem. That's what friends are for, we can both look after Kayla."
-he said, rubbing her head.

Kobe: "you can send her over as always, though! You know I won't hesitate to look after her."

Derek: "Yeah, I know.. I didn't know things were gonna end up like this.. I wish her mom was here."
-he said, his tone low.

Kobe: "Look, I know you miss her, but you just have to understand; not everything is gonna last forever. At a certain time, we will loose our loved ones. It's life, Derek."

Derek: "Okay, now I understand."
-he smiled.

Kobe: "Besides, don't you think it's time to have the love of your life now? You've been single for 3 and a half years."

Derek: "Look who's talking. I can't tell when last you had a relationship since Lola."

Kobe: "That... that girl was extremely complicated and I'm glad I ended things with her."
