Narrator POV
In a magical land known as Narnia, its king, a great and majestic golden Lion of the name Aslan, was with his beloved. Many knew that he had one, but very few seem to know who she is, just the fact that she was a powerful enchantress.
After many years, they were expecting a child, but as the great and miraculous news broke so did an enemy that they weren't prepared for. The White Witch, Jadis, and her followers came to Narnia with the goal to conquer it all. And they did, for there was a prophecy that foretold 5 children were destined to defeat the witch.
Jadis knew she couldn't defeat Aslan for he was there when Narnia was created and when the Deep magic was written, but his beloved on the other hand was more than vulnerable being so close to birth. Her beloved, Andromeda, never told Aslan that she knew she wouldn't survive, but the deep magic gave her an option.
"Aslan!" called Andromeda sensing something wrong was about to happen. And the great lion too, so he darted to where she was.
"My love, what's wrong?" he asked. But seeing the teary eyes told him much
"Luv, we don't have much time, she's coming, and I know I'm not going to survive, and I think you know it too" she said with the utmost soft voice she could and the look on Aslan's face told her he knew it too
"I know my love, but there is nothing I can do, she is almost here, and I don't want to lose you both" his deep caring voice told
"You won't lose us both, the deep magic has given us a blessing, but for some time it can be a curse... for you" she said skeptically, the deep magic never connected with the enchantress, just in moments where is truly needed, but not to save a child
"What are you saying, my dear? We don't have much time" said Aslan with urgency
"The deep magic for some reason wants our child safe, I do not know what for, but it must be of great importance. It wants to connect with our child, with her life force" Aslan interrupted her
"Her... a daughter?" said with a smile that his beloved returned fondly and nodding before continuing "What is the bad part for me that you were saying?"
"When the deep magic merges with her lifeforce it will transfer her to the body of another pregnant woman in the world, where Kirke comes from, that is the same length in the pregnancy as me. She is having a boy. But this means you won't be able to see her until she returns with the other children from the prophecy, this boy is one of them, so she will be safe. Now, the deep magic being a part of her and us being her biological parents, she can grow into great power, that world where she will grow up has no magic, that's the only bad thing for her, she'll be weak, and probably ill at times, but nothing that can kill her" Katerina explained to Aslan with care
The great lion listened to every detail, he knew the consequences when a merge like this happens, especially for her beloved, knowing that for the transfer the deep magic will use her life, but seeing her speak so happily that by doing this their daughter will live and save from the clutches of the white witch, neither could complain.
"As long as she can live and grow up with a family until she comes to me, I'm willing to do anything in my power to protect our little cub, and you for whatever time we have left" said Aslan while nuzzling his head in the crook of the neck of his love.
Both agreeing to this, without saying anything, the deep magic was going to do it whether they agreed or not, but by giving in, will be much easier.
In the span of days, Narnia had started to fall into a cold winter tinted with magic. Narnians had fled to the forest or just surrender, but Aslan knew better, all have heard that there was a prophecy that gave them hope. So, Aslan and Andromeda both fled to the entrance of Aslan's country where her beloved laid in a bed after the last attack of the witch.
"It's time my love, know that I love you both.. so much. Please, please, visit her in her dreams, it'll be a way for you to know each other." Andromeda said with teary eyes, starting to think she doesn't have much timeless
"I will, I love you, now and always... And Amara too" said Aslan with a loving gaze that kept shifting from the eyes of his beloved and her bump nuzzling it with his head
"Amara... I love it...Princess Amara Davina, Daughter of Aslan. It has a nice ring to it"
"I love it, goodbye my love, I'll see you in my country when the time is right. Know that I love you... now and always" said Aslan one last time, watching as her love takes her last breath and disappears into a bright light "See you soon Amara, my dear daughter" he says to himself as he sees the light go to the sky like a wishing star
