The way people looked at her made Violet sick. Sick as in that awful queasy feeling you get in the pit of your stomach that makes you want to throw up but you can't. Violet's parents always expected so much from her; to the point where they forced her to do certain things to make their family look good. It was an awful thing, but that's how all kooks are. Stuck up rich people who only care about their egos. To Violet, money was never a big deal to her as long as she had all that she needed to survive. She was different than them.
