war tattoos yin's thigh

or he tries to

———

the first thing yin notices when he enters his room is someone comfortably lying on his bed while playing with their phone. he walks over towards the bed, carelessly dropping his bag among other things on the floor.
"war?" it's already morning. He is a bit surprised that the other is still awake.

"yeah?" war answers but his focus is not on yin and its on whatever's on his phone screen, so he playfully shoves the phone out of war's hand, watches it fall onto the mattress. The older man is confused for a split second before a wide smile lights up his face. he reaches out for yin and pulls him until the younger falls directly on top of his stockier body.

yin wiggles out of war's arms for a minute, instead of letting him go the older man tightens his arm around his waist and draws him closer. yin has never been as strong as the other boy, but even if he was, he wont deliberately push the other away. they are laughing or more of yin savoring the sound of war's laugh before they stop struggling altogether. they lay in comfortable silence for a few minutes until war breaks it, "why are you so demanding lately?" he says while running a hand through yin's hair, tucking a few loose strands behind his ear. "how's your day? tired?"

looking up to face the other, yin pouts while nodding his head to answer. after an eventful day, he is happy that war is there with him. he scrambles for something, anything to say, but all his mind can focus on are the sharp lines of war's face, of his still damp hair and bare skin. resting his head in the spot between neck and shoulder, he nuzzles his face further in the nook of war's neck and inhales deeply, liking the other's scent. everything seems much better when he is in war's embrace; his embrace feels like home — like yin finally found where he belongs.

"we're together, its better now.." yin murmurs against war's skin then proceeds to pressing soft, sweet kisses at the base of the other's neck. somehow, no matter how busy or tired they were, they always managed to have time to talk, just the two of them – about random things, sometimes serious conversations, more often teasing each other. but it always ends with the two of them relaxed against one another, basking in each other's warmth. they both enjoy these moments. just the two of them, even having their bed hair and unshaved faces.

"oh. i have something to show you.." yin swings his leg over war's waist. this way he would see the other's reaction clearly. "want to see?"

"no," war says nonchalantly. "can't it wait until later? i just want to cuddle." he continues but also leaning back against the pillows, laying still as yin straddles him. a curious look shows up on his face when yin starts tugging his black dress shirt off his shoulders, revealing a design drawn on his chest.

"tattoo?" war sits up, keeping yin in his lap. his eyes flicker from his chest to yin's face as he reaches out to touch it.

"a fake one but it's cool right?" yin lets him touch it even edging forward eager to feel war's fingers on his skin. "i had another one on the back of my neck earlier. it was gone after i showered. i wanted to keep this one to show it to you."

"you had fake tattoos for your shoot?" war asks vaguely.

"you don't like it?" yin looks at the other, eyes questioning.

"have you seen yourself with tattoos? don't tell me you didn't like it." War shrugs, though his face horribly betrays the attempt at calmness. "i like it but i like you more." the older man leans forward until they are almost nose to nose, arms circling around yin's waist, feeling his breath softly hitting yin's face, "hey, did you just teased me with your tattoo?"
