We arrive at the pack house a couple minutes later after walking through the forest in quietness. the sun had set about five minutes ago.
I think we were just thinking over the last couple events because if I'm being honest, it gets very overwhelming sometimes.
We walk inside and head straight to the kitchen to get food and water. when we enter, we see Damien sitting at the counter, so deep in his thoughts he didn't hear us come in.
I look at Asher with a confused look on my face. what could he possibly be thinking so hard about?
"Is he alright?" I mind-linked Asher.
"I don't know" he replies.
I look at Asher and shrug as I tap Damien on the shoulder. he doesn't budge, so I did it again, still nothing so I thought I should take it a step further and slap him and it worked.
"What the hell Ally" he yells.
"Don't shout at me, I was just checking to see if you were okay" I say sitting next to him.
"Oh...sorry, I'm just thinking about something" he says vaguely.
"clearly"
I look at Asher as he finds something for us to eat whiles obviously listening in on the conversation.
"Your sarcasm is not needed right now" he sighs.
"What is your issue aren't I supposed to be the moody one around here?" I joke.
"Sorry...I just have a lot on my mind right now" he whispers.
" Are you okay?" Asher joins in.
" Yes, I'm fine"
"Are you sure?" he continues to push for the truth.
"I don't know." He replies.
"Do you want to talk about it? you know you can talk to us about anything" I say comfortingly, "I'll make Asher put away his alpha side if It is upsetting." I joke trying to lighten the mood.
He softly smiles at us.
I move to sit in front of him instead of being next to him, and Asher joins me with a little snack for us to eat.
"So apparently...I'm gay." He says slowly.
Asher and I are shocked, not because he is gay but because back home, he used to be such a player with all of the unmated girls, dating them then breaking their hearts two weeks later.
no matter how much Asher and I told him to stop he would say that he was just having a little fun, so now Asher and I are trying to hold back our laughter, but one look at each other, had us dying of laughter.
"I feel for all of those poor, heartbroken girls back home." Asher laughs out.
"Same." I giggled.
"Really guys, I tell you that I'm gay and that is what come to your mind?" he groans.
"Okay, we are sorry, so how do you know?" I ask calming down.
"My mate is here; I ran in here before he caught on."
"Why?" Asher questions.
"Cause I've never been with a guy before, I wouldn't even where to start."
"Well, maybe he does, and he can help you through it, all you have to do is let him in." I speak.
He groans and places his head on the counter. "Yeah, maybe."
"Are you okay now?" Asher asks.
He lifts his head from the counter and nods.
