Second Person POV

You, Blake, and Lyra rode horses to Castle Dimitrescu since it was the fastest way to get there since you were in the middle of nowhere when your mission was assigned to you. It was down right torture due to the twins constant arguing and you were close to snapping but luckily Shad was the fastest horse and she put you a mile ahead of the twins. When you got close to the outskirts of the village you halted your horse and put your hand out for the twins to stop.

Lyra spoke first with a complaint, "Why are we stopping here y/n, we're not even close to the village yet." Blake scoffed at Lyra's dumb question while you sighed to yourself.

"Lyra, we cannot go in barging with horses, and besides if our horses are too close to the village outskirts then the lycans will get them and I would rather not lose Shad right now." She looked at you and nodded while tying her horse to a tree. You and Blake did the same and made sure the knots were secure.

Third Person POV

Y/n motioned for the twins to follow her into the village. She had the best instincts compared to the other two so she knew how to get through the forest without bumping into any hungry lycans. Y/n still hated lycans after what happened years ago, but she let it go because Miranda would kill her if she laid a hand on one of Lord Heisenberg's pets. The group stayed in the outskirts so that the villagers couldn't spot them. Miranda only had one request when she sent them on the mission and it was to stay discreet and out of sight, so the villagers did not get scared and attack the group.

The three were running through the outskirts until they reached the mountain near Castle Dimitrescu. They pulled out their climbing gear and y/n made sure that each of their ropes were tight enough, she didn't want anyone to plummet to their death while on the biggest mission of their life. It was their job to kill Ethan Winters, and to make sure the Dimitrescu family survives. When the three were halfway down the mountain a gun shot was heard.

Blake yelled out "y/n the shot came from this side of the castle, I think a window was broken but I can't see."

Y/n took that as her cue to grab her M82 off her shoulder and look through the scope. What she saw almost made her loose her balance, Bela Dimitrescu was shivering on the ground, she was crystallizing at a fast rate. Y/n quickly moved her gun to the right and Ethan Winter's was right in her line of sight. Y/n tightened her grip on both the barrel and handle. She was filled with anger at this point because they were so close to failing their mission, and so y/n yelled out at Blake and Lyra.

"You two get down there and protect the family, let me deal with him from up her." The two simply nodded and at a fast pace scaled down the mountain. When y/n saw they made it down the mountain she went back to her task at hand.

Y/n checked the wind by holding her finger out to ensure her bullet wouldn't miss. She aimed back at Ethan and weighed her options. She could either kill him on the spot or injure him badly and get the final kill with her hands. She made her decision, so she steadied the sniper and fired at Ethan. The bullet barely missing his heart.

Y/n smirked in victory as he dropped to his knees barely breathing. She loved killing enemies with her sniper but this felt different. When she saw how desperate Bela was for the cold to stop, something just snapped inside of her and she wanted to bring Ethan pain for almost killing the eldest daughter.
Y/n quickly scaled down the mountain to chase after Ethan. She knew he wouldn't be in the dining room anymore since he would need to find a hiding place to stay alive. That made y/n's adrenaline rush as she loved hunting hidden threats. The thrill of chasing her prey and making them scream in agony as she tortured them.

Y/n made it to the ground and unhooked the ropes from her harness. She started to trudge through the thick snow, the snow crunched with every step. Y/n desperately wanted to run, but the snow was too thick and heavy on her boots. Once she made it to the main castle doors she opened them and quickly closed them so the icy air was shut out. She wanted to check on Bela, but she needed to kill Ethan first to ensure no more harm came to the family.
