After a long ride, the car finally stopped in front of their management building. Hoseok, who was playing on his phone, looked up to find all his friends sleeping. He tried keeping in his laughter seeing Jin and Yoongi's heads at awkward angles and Tae and Jimin sprawled out on each other. He looked over to their maknae and Nana. He almost cooed too loud.
Nana had her head rested on Jungkook's shoulder and Jungkook had his head on top of Nana's. They looked adorable together. Hoseok quickly switched to his camera on his phone and took a picture of the two before his manager opened the side door and told them all they were here.
Nana slowly shifted awake, moving her body in a little more comfortable position before opening her eyes. Her neck was stiff and sore, but she wasn't as cold as she thought she would be.
"Aww did our maknae finally get a girlfriend!?" Jimin cooed teasingly, waking up Jungkook.
He grumbled awake, mumbling "What are you talking about?"
Nana only now just realized she was resting on Jungkook. "Get off of me!" she shouted and proceeded to shove Jungkook away. Not expecting the shove, he completely fell over on the other side of the seat while Nana stormed out of the car, face aflame. The boys all burst out laughing.
They all settled down in the practice room. It was early in the evening while they lazed around. Nana was still upset, but some of the boys were goofing off with each other. "Jungkookie come play with us!" Jimin bounced on over to the youngest who was on his phone.
"Go away, hyung." He brushed off his attempts at tugging him along.
"You're no fun," Jimin whined. "At least go talk to Nana. She's probably still sad from earlier!"
Nana sat in the corner on her phone while Jin and Namjoon were trying to get her mind off what had happened earlier. She kept insisting that she was fine, but they saw right through it.
"Hyungg, the ice prince is really bringing down the mood right now!" Jimin whinned to Hoseok.
"Let's go somewhere else!" Taehyung suggested.
"We can't just leave the practice room. Manager hyung would be dissapointed!" Hoseok said. "He thinks we're practicing!" he whisper shouted.
"Well then let's go to one of your studios! We'll tell him we're working on a new song!" Jimin pleaded.
"Hnn, fine! Let's take Yoongi and Namjoon hyung then so it actually seems legit." Hoseok finally gave in.
"Wait! What about Jin hyung?" Jimin asked.
"We'll ask him to re-record some vocals or something," Taehyung said. The three of them all agreed and went to their hyungs to force them to come with them. At least then maybe their Ice Prince will lighten up or at least stop sulking.
Jungkook and Nana were too absorbed in their phones and trying to ignore everyone that they didn't even realize they had all left. Nana noticed Yoongi and Namjoon had left, but she figured that they just got bored with her.
It didn't occur to them that they had all completely left until their phones chirped, signaling a message.
From Jimin:
Left to go do some recording ~
Take care of Nana, Ice Prince!! We'll be back later with some FOOD!"Recording? What recording?" Jungkook muttered to himself, confused at their lame excuse. "Tch, I can't believe they left." He dropped his phone to the side of him and groaned.
"Stop acting like a brat. They probably left cause you were being rude to them." Nana hissed.
"It's not like you were any better." He retorted." The room fell into a silent glare off for a good few minutes before Jungkook rolled his eyes and got up to leave the room. Nana blinked a few times, confused as why he was also leaving. He slammed the door on his way out, making the mirrors shake a bit.
"Hmph whatever, I didn't need him anyways."
*Jungkook POV*
Jeez, she's so annoying. She lost a friend, but that doesn't mean I have to be nice still. Right? Whatever.I left the practice room to go to the building's kitchen pantry. I know the hyungs won't be back anytime soon and I doubt they'll even bring some food.I rummaged through the fridge and picked out some left overs to heat up.
As I was heating up some left over meat, my phone rang. Hobi hyung~ the screen read.
"How could you guys leave me!?" I yelled into the phone.
"You were no fun to play with, Kookie. You should really work on that." Tae replied over the phone, thought I could barely hear it. He was probably messing around with the others.
"Yah! Give me the phone!"
"No give it to me!"
"Who is it??"
"Stooop give me my phone back!"I rolled my eyes.
"Yah! Jungkookie, I can hear the microwave over the phone! Nana better be there with you! You better not have left her alone in the practice room! I don't care if you have beef with her right now or whatever, she needs someone with her!" I heard Jimin hyung over the phone. I bit my lip.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm not that mean, she's here with me." I lied.
"Put her on the phone! Is she feeling better?? Is she ok?? Yaaah Nana!! Hiiii!" Jimin shouted through the phone. I had to take it away from my ear.
"I'm hanging up, you're too loud. And my food is done reheating bye!!"
"Yah! Jungkookie don't lie to us and go get Nana!" Taehyung yelled before I hung up.
I cursed in my head. I quickly took out the left over and rushed back to the practice room.
I pushed open the door and prayed that Nana hadn't left to wander around the building, or city, or just somewhere stupid. I mentally thanked everyone and thing when I saw her still in the corner, but cursed myself when I saw her eyes were red and puffy.
She jerked her head up from resting it on our mirror and gave me a death glare. "What do you want?" She asked curtly. I switched to a blank stare and held out my beautiful reheated food to her. "I don't want it." she said. As if on cue, her stomach growled so loud, even I could hear it. She frowned even more as I smirked at her.
"You sure? It's meat," I teased.
"I'm sure, now just leave me alone, brat."
I rolled my eyes at her pettiness. "Just because you're always moody doesn't mean you have to be rude. Plus I'm positive you haven't eaten since breakfast and it's like 5pm now," I said as I approached her. "Now stop letting your pride get in the way and share this dumb food with me." I huffed and sat down.
"Just leave me alone! I don't want it!" She yelled.
"I said stop being stubborn!" I yelled back. I saw her visibly flinch back as I raised my voice and immediately felt bad, but didn't want to show it.
"Please, just leave me alone Jungkook." She mumbled. I saw a few tears slip from her eyes and her face turn red right before she looked away.
I saw the change in her face. Her anger changed to sadness. It was like she was a totally different person.
Did I really make her cry? Was it my fault? I set the plate of food down beside me and hesitated slightly before I grabbed her and pulled her towards me.
"Stop being a stubborn idiot and let me help you." I said softly as I embraced her.
