Chapter Eleven

The next day I return to school more bubbly feeling more like myself after yesterday. I'm chatting with Mina, Denki and Sero making sure not to smile after what happened yesterday.

The door opens as Bakugo enters the classroom.

"Bakugo!" I say giving him a wide smile as I wave at him, hoping that he'll be friendly and not avoid us all again like yesterday. I smiled at him because yesterday the second time he didn't faint, he only got startled I'm pretty sure, so maybe you build up a tolerance to it?

He looks over at me and immediately blushes as he begins to speed walk back out of the classroom. Iida starts to yell-scold him from his seat about something concerning 'the proper performance of a UA student when entering a classroom' but I don't listen.

My smile fades as Sero and the others turn to look at me. I feel my face turn into a pouty frown as I cast down my gaze from my friends.

"Why is he avoiding me?"

It's lunch and we're all sitting together without Bakugo again. Is he mad at me? Before I was a girl he sat with all of us, so maybe he's mad I'm a girl? Or maybe yesterday he was just surprised so he didn't eat lunch with us, but today he actually IS mad because I made him lose study time when he fainted yesterday.

I poke at my food sadly. In any of the scenarios it's my fault, so maybe I shouldn't hang around the Bakusquad as much after school so he can at least talk to them...

The bell rings for the next class and I brighten up a little bit. Hero training is next! I like that class! Suddenly a smile makes its way onto my face. I could be paired up with Bakugo too, and then maybe he'd tell me what was wrong!

I rush to the classroom then quickly realize my suit will definitely NOT work anymore... I look around nervously before Aizawa Sensei appears in front of my with a piece of clothing.

"The support course quickly tried to make you this suit until you can design yourself another one." He replied monotonely. I nodded as I made my way towards the locker rooms before pausing as I suddenly realized my problem.

"Umm Mina?"
