I'm having a good day, what about you lovelies? I haven't been trick or treating since I was in 5th grade, and I felt it was a little childish, but last year a new kid joined our school, and we became super good friends really quick. She always knows exactly what I'm thinking and it's crazy, because I wanted to go trick or treating today but didn't plan to because I thought I'd look dumb doing it, (Even though I'm 5" so ig I'd blend in!) but then today she just straight up asked me 'u wanna go trick or treating? U can wear whatever u want. Ik u wanna go.'-and I mean I'm 14 so I guess it wasn't totally out of the picture-but I swear my jaw dropped! I have the sweetest friend! I'm really excited, but I don't actually have a costume since like I said, I wasn't planning on going, so I'm gonna have to fix that first!! (o^w^o)

I woke up the next day to knocking on my door, and jolted out of my heavy sleep to hear my alarm beeping repeatedly in the background. I quickly turned it off, and after doing a quick pat-down of my hair in the mirror went to open the door.

I was greeted by a male that looked as if he hadn't slept in at least a month and smiled at him faintly. My eyes widened when I realized that I had given him a full smile last night and he had been unfazed as he was now.

The thought that I had finally found someone I could smile at just made my grin wider. Hey lazily waved a hand at me in some form of greeting as he scratched the back of his neck nervously.

"I heard your alarm going off through the door when I was walking down the hall for breakfast, but I didn't hear it turned off when I was walking back later to grab my bag, so I thought maybe you might've slept through it."

I creased my brows in worry.

Will I be late for school?

He seemed to have noticed the worry on my face because of his prior statement and smiled. "Don't worry, I don't think you'll be late if you hurry. I think you can tell that I'm not really a morning or night person," He gestured to the bags under his eyes.

"But since it's my first day I wanted to get there early so I'm sure you'll have enough time." Ah! That's good! It's so manly that he wanted to get to school early but still took the time to make sure I woke up!

"Thanks Shinso!" I closed the door abruptly and started rushing to get ready for school. I needed to make sure I was on time since he took the time out of his morning to make sure I could!

...

I got ready to head to class in a rush and managed to make it out of the dorms with fifteen minutes to spare.

I ran into Denki and Mina on the way out, both of them sitting in the mainroom in their pajamas, giving me a clue why they're always late for class. I wave as I finish the piece of toast in my mouth and run out the door.

Even if I have spare time I'm not going to risk it!

As I turn the corner of the building I'm met with the hard collision of a body against mine and am hit to the ground. I pull myself up and brush off my uniform as I look at what I bumped into.

A laugh bubbles up when I see a worried looking insomniac in front of me.

"Did you wait for me?" I tease him. He looks a bit embarrassed as he scratches the back of his neck looking away.

"I just wanted to make sure you didn't fall back asleep." I smile at him and hold out my hand as an invitation to walk to class together. He looks a bit surprised but after a moment takes it.

"I SHIP IT!" Mina screams from behind us. I turn red.

SHIP???
