♥ Our Rebel Love Song ♥ ~ Chapter 1

(Zerissa's POV)

And I can't go on

I smiled as I listened to the acoustic version of my favorite song. I loved it. I felt tears pool in my ears but I blinked my eyes quickly. I looked at my wrist and see all the scars I had made a long time ago on my arms. 

I guess I should tell you about myself. My name is Zerissa but I prefer being called Zeri. My favorite color is purple, I hate pink, I love Batman and Joker. I was kidnapped when I was young by this crazy couple until I was 17 and escaped. Now I am 19 years old, live alone in my own apartment, and have a best friend named Kathy, or Kat as I call her. I love rock music and bands such as My Chemical Romance, I See Stars, Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Black Veil Brides, and a lot more. Black Veil Brides are my most favorite band in the whole world. I'm actually going to see them perform at a concert that Kat got tickets for.

I sighed and went to the otherside of my room. I grabbed my concealer and covered the scars on my arm.When I was done, I inspected my arm and see it was spotless. I had made a big mistake when I made those. I walked over to my mirror and saw that my blue hair was a tangled mess. I yanked a brush through it. It looked better. All of a sudden, I hear my phone go off playing  We Stitch These Wounds.

The tears we cried,

This love has died

You're by yourself with me tonight

It's what we hide with every lie

And Stitch These Wounds with me tonight

Right away I knew it was my best friend since we were kids, Kathy. I walked over and got my phone and answered.

"Hey, Kat."

"Hey Zeri. You ready for the concert?"

"Yeah. I'm so freaking excited!!!!!!!!!!"

"I know right? So anyways are you ready?"

"No! I don't even know when it is!!"

"Sorry."

"So when it is?"

"Today at 9."

I turned around and lookd at the time in my alarm clock. It read in big, red numbers 7:36.

"WHAT?! YOU TELL ME NOW?!" 

"I forgot! Anyways, I'll pick you up at around 8. Bye!!"

"Bye,"

I threw my phone on my bed, grabbed my towel and ran to the bathroom. I took off my clothes and jumped into the shower. I turned on the water and started to put shampoo in my hair. After the whole bathroom process, I got out, wrapped my towel around me and start to get ready.

I put on my a BVB shirt and rosary, my leather boots, leather jcket that had studs on it, black skinnies and my band bracelets. I put on a lot of eyeliner and red lipstick. I straightened my hair and teased it a bit. I grab a black beanie and put it on my head. I was ready just when there was a knock on the door.

"Zerissa!!! Get your ass in my car right now!!!!" Kat yelled. I ran to the door and smack Kat upside the head. "Oww! Fine, sorry for calling you your full name," she said, rolling her eyes. Her black hair was teased and she had the same outfit as me. We look totally different though. I had blue hair with light blue eyes and Kat had black hair, smokey blue eyes, and 2 piercings.

"You ready?" I asked. "Hell yeah I am!" she said. We walked to her car. Kat popped in a BVB CD and we sang a long as we drove. "I can't believe we'll be going to the Church Of The Wild Ones!!" Kat squeeled. I closed my eyes and listened to Set The World On Fire while we drove to the venue.
